Alba was looking at her cousin who was currently sleeping on her bed. They found her passed out on the floor with very high fever 3 days ago. She had made everyone leave the room for her to handle Noel's health as the days passed. She had come in to make sure she was drinking her medicine and at least eating. She knew the girl hasn't been sleeping much judging from the dark bags under her eyes and she was eating less.

'She's gotten a little thinner.'

As much as she loves her cousin, she just needs to go ahead and confess her feelings to Johanna. Obviously, the older girl feels the same way as her. Why is she hesitating in confessing? It's not like it's the first time she has confessed her love to someone.

A knock was heard by the door.

"Come in."

Olivie walks in with a small bowl that had steam coming up. "I made some rice porridge for her."

The girl motioned her to set it down by the nightstand. "Her fever has gone down. Seems like the medicine that Tia Karli gave me took affect a lot quicker. Earlier she complained about missing class and passed out again. Most likely she will be okay tomorrow and she will go to school instead of staying here and resting."

"That's Noel for you. Stubborn as hell and never worries about her health."

Olivie brushes the younger girl's bangs to the side. "Johanna went out with Teo again."

"I see."

The blue-eyed girl turned to face Alba, "You okay?"

She was far from okay. She was worried. Worried that her cousin was gonna get hurt. "Yeah, I'm okay. Let's leave and let her rest. Maybe she'll wake up soon to eat."

As both girls walked out of Noel's room, the girl opened her eyes to stare at the ceiling of her room. 'How troublesome.'

She sits up on her bed and looked at the pile of papers on her desk. She hasn't been in class for 3 days and had missed so many notes and also assignments.

She slowly got out of bed and made her way to her desk to do the missing assignments that has been piling up on her desk. When she opened her laptop, she had a few emails from her advisor. She saw one that had a star on it and decided to open it.

I heard you had a fever the past few days. Once you are better please stop by my office. I would like to talk to you about something you would like to hear.

Best regards, Iris DeLeon.

She sighed to herself. Why can't everyone give her a break?

'Why don't you make that Teo guy disappear? He will get in the way of everything.'

Noel looked outside her window to look at the sunset at 4:56 pm. 'You and I both know that Matias will know it was us. He is the one who told Teo that Johanna was here. I know her mom said that she was the one who told her but he got her to confirm it first.'

'Nol. HAVE YOU FORGOTTEN THAT HE IS RELATED TO THOSE BASTARDS WHO KILLED NOVE AND THOSE WHO HAVE MADE OUR LIVES HELL?! WHAT ABOUT TIO PAOLO AND PAPA EMILIANO?!"

She clenched her teeth. Of course, she hasn't. She knows that she could never forgive those who have taken away the ones she cared about. She is the only one out of her whole family that knows that Teo is related to Matias. 'We have to think carefully. If not, we will be 6 feet in the ground.'

'Thinking?! Use your instincts! That's how survived all these years! The same thing happened to Erik back then and look at what happened to him. He was killed in his own home and left there for his family to find him.'
