31. Welcome back

"Are you sure, you are ready?" Wen Qing asked

Actually, I wasn't and I never will, but I can't wait anymore. Not even one day's delay can be done, I had to go back and get back my life, which was ruined, I have to pay back to every person I had wronged.

I need to be Xiao Zhan again.

"I am ready Wen Qing," I said and she nodded

"I'll drop you." Wen Qing, I know she wanted to say something more, she wanted to be with me but she cant I was the one who threw her away, who fired her yelled at her.

She was already very generous by allowing me back into her life, by treating me so well and I can't ask anything more than this, moreover, she will never go back to a place where she wasn't respected she has her self-respect and I admire her for that.

"No need." I said gently with a smile, "I will be fine and I can handle everything, you have done enough, just having you by my side is enough"

She smiled and nodded, "Zhan...do you wanna go to the grave of your parents?"

I stopped and took a deep breath, Wen Qing had told me that the authorities had discovered two dead bodies, and they belonged to my parents.

I wasn't even able to attend their funeral.

While I was away, Wen Qing couldn't much either no matter how much she wanted to find me, she couldn't do anything because no one would listen to her.

And it's not her fault, I am the CEO of Xiao industries my underlings just can't announce that I am their CEO is missing, it will cause chaos.

Once I sat in the car, all my expressions had vanished, I didn't feel anything anymore and I don't want to feel anything as well.

I drove all the way to the company and once I reached there, it became tougher and tougher for me to remain calm and normal.

How will they react when see their missing CEO after so many days?

I walked right inside the building, this place was built by the hard work of my parents and I nearly lost this place.

People noticed me at once and nearly everyone who saw me just stopped, whatever doing, and just looked at me as if they were staring at some alien.

Finally one of the employees greeted me with hesitance and the others followed.

"Good Morning mister Zhan." That was what everyone said, but this morning was not good for me.

 I nodded at them and walked towards my office everybody looked shocked to see me and I get that.

Once I reached my office I quickly walked in before my accident Wen Qing was my assistant but that was not the case anymore, so the assistant's desk was empty now.

Once I walked into my office I saw someone sitting on MY  seat.

I couldn't see who it was since their back face me, "Who are you?"

I asked with a stern voice.

The person on the chair moved and turned to me,

And once I saw his face my eyes nearly came out of my eye sockets, I clenched my fist when I saw the person I hated the most right in front of me sitting only at my desk and looking at me with a triumphant smirk.

I shivering with rage and It was becoming tougher and tougher for me to control my anger.

"Welcome back Zhan," he said and walked towards me with a wicked smile, he stood in front of me, "How does it feel to come back?"

"What are you doing here," I said with gritted teeth, "Yibo."
