40. Ignorance is a Bliss

Kexing had a frown on his face as he looked or more like glared at our hands.

Is he perhaps jealous? I thought and smile, this idiot, I wanted to pull my hands back but Zhishu clutched them tighter.

"Oh we were just having a talk with each other," He said and then looked at me with a smile, "Right Zhan?"

I glanced at Zhishu who was definitely having fun here, but I don't want Kexing to think that I was his love rival or something.

"You insolent Piece of shit" He said and grabbed my hands and pushing them back thus bringing them out of his child,

"Have some Shame, Zhan is my guest."

"Oh, he is my friend so our relationship is closer than you."

"Aren't you done? you should go back home."

"You have no mercy, right? asking me to go out in such heavy rain"

"You live next door seriously stop being a drama queen"

"The find an umbrella for me."

"Sure," Kexing said and quickly got up but couldn't find the umbrella no matter where he looked, from Zhishu's smirk I understood that it was him who must have done something to annoy Kexing.

"OH GOSH!!!" Kexing was close to pulling his hair.

The rain had almost stopped and it was late afternoon, "I should leave now"

I said and got up, this grabbed the attention of the other two.

"So soon?" Kexin asked I smiled at him" it's later afternoon, Kexing,"

"Oh...time sure flows fast." He said 

"Yup, let's meet someday else," I said.

"I'll contact you soon," Zhishu said

"Why will you contact him," Kexing asked.

"Because he is my friend"

"No need to disturb him...By the way, Zhan give me your number as well"

"Sure," I said and glanced at these two, a smile etched on my face as I saw them.

After saying goodbye to both of them I made my way towards the car and drove back to the house, Wen Qing was home by there by the time I came back.

Before I had left the house I had already messaged her that I would be with Kexing so she knew where I was.

"How did it go?" Wen Qing asked, "Were you comfortable with him?"

I smiled, "He is a dork, I swear to god he is just like a child, moreover my friend Zhishu is his neighbor"

"What a small world by the way I gave the DNA samples to the doctor. The results will be out in a few days"

"I see " I said and sat down, "By the way A-Qing, today Zhishu told me about a few things."

"Zhan..." she said in a grave voice,

"Hmm, I think we should stop"

"What do you mean."

"Don't play Dumb Zhan, I don't have a great feeling about this church there is something seriously wrong with that church because when I was there all I felt was dread, that place is really eerie.

Besides our parents quit that church and made us never go anywhere near it, they must have a reason for it moreover if they are hiding you from something or someone what if that was related to this church, we might accidentally provoke someone or invite trouble, And this isn't good Zhan."

I nodded Wen Qing looked serious she looked really worried, even I felt that this was something serious.

"It's okay Wen Qing go back to your room, you must be tired."

She nodded, "Zhan I am being serious we should stay away from that church, the seal on your memory and your powers maybe it would be better to let them remain missing"

Once Wen Qing was out of sight, I collapsed I had this feeling of uneasiness in my chest creeping up, I was scared now, but I don't know what I was scared of.

So many questions are there in my mind and the only ones who can give me answer to them were Yibo, my brother, and my memories.
