37. Kexing's Neighbor

An indescribable feeling of uneasiness crept all the way to my mind.

Kexing's expression changed as well he didn't smile as well, and his eyes turned cold, were they cold because of his brother or someone else?

I wanted to ask how his brother died but I controlled myself.

"Um..." he tried to say something, he was probably trying to lighten the mood but couldn't find the words.

"I am sorry for asking," I said, "Anyways, where do you live? I will drop you."

"Um... it's alright I just don't like to talk about my past much I am sorry if I was rude." 

"It's alright, I also don't like to talk about my past." Because my past is a lie.

He smiled once again, "You are a good person Zhan, would you like to be my friend?"

"Sure why not?"

"It's going to rain, I think," Kexing said, I also looked towards the sky, it was covered with dark clouds.

"I think you are right."

And as expected it did start to rain till the time we reached Kexing's home, Kexing's house was a decent two-floor building.

"Hey Zhan it's raining very heavily you should spend a little time here, till the rain slows down"

I took out a spare umbrella from the car and shared it with Kexing 

"Is that you Zhan?" I heard a very familiar voice saying my name, I smile with a little bit of surprise when I saw Zhou Zhishu with an umbrella standing in front of me.

"Zhishu," I said 

"So I was right, how are you are here?" Zhishu said with a smile.

"I just came to drop Kexing and since it's raining I will spend some time here"

Zhishu raised a brow and smiled mischievously, "Ah, so you are my dear neighbor's guest?"

I glanced at Kexing who was looking at Zhushu with scorn he looked like an angry cat, while Zhishu looked like he was enjoying his expression.

Is Zhishu the neighbor Kexing was cursing last night?

"What a small world we live in" Zhishu said and smirked."We have met after so many days Zhan how about we catch up? I hope my dear Neighbor will have no problem right?"

I noticed Kexing's clenched fist as he glared at Zhishu, "Actually I do,"

"oh, you are being petty again  huh?"

"I am not being petty, I just don't want you in my house."

Zhishu chuckled, "Alright then Zhan you can come to my home."

"He is my guest, you just go your way."

"But I am his friend." 

"So what, you can talk to him some other day right?"

"We don't have to get through petty argument if you stop being Petty darling."

I was slightly agape when I heard while Kexing's face was red, "You!! stop calling me that?"

"Why, you are a lovely sweet, person, Whom I admire with all my heart."

Kexing's face was red as a tomato.

"Moreover, didn't we kiss yesterday you seemed to have enjoyed that."

Now I was shocked as hell, I was an accident.

"Alright I get that while gardening you slipped and fell over me and our lips touched but what about when your tongue..mffff"

Kexing moved forwards and covered Zhishu's mouth with his hand, "Shut up, you grabbed my neck."

Zhishu smiled and winked at him, "Whatever" he said ran to his house.

"Kexing!!! you'll get wet" Zhishu said and an after him with the umbrella but not before telling Me to follow him. "Come on Zhan."

I burst out laughing, and just laughed for a few minutes before slowly walking inside Kexing's house.
