Steve and I looked around the small apartment. We were both in our suits. Steve found a journal on top of the fridge. He looked through it as I looked around the kitchen.

"Heads up. German Special Forces, approaching from the south." Sam told us.

"Understood." Steve said and we turned around to see Bucky Barnes standing there. "Do you know me?"

"You're Steve. I read about you in a museum." Bucky said and he looked over at me. "You're Mason. I saw you on the news."

"They've set the perimeter." Sam said.

"I know you're nervous" Steve says as he places the journal down. "and you have plenty of reason to be. But you're lying."

"I wasn't in Vienna. I don't do that anymore." Bucky said.

"They're entering the building." Sam said.

"Well, the people who think you did are coming here now. And they're not planning on taking you alive." Steve told him.

"That's smart. Good strategy." Bucky said and we heard footsteps.

"They're on the roof. I'm compromised." Sam said.

"This doesn't have to end in a fight, Buck." Steve said. Bucky places his grocery bag down.

"It always ends in a fight." Bucky says.

"Five seconds."

"You pulled me from the river. Why?" Steve asks as Bucky takes off his gloves to reveal his metal hand.

"I don't know."

"Three seconds."

"Yes, you do." Steve says.

"Breach! Breach! Breach!" Sam yelled and a small explosive broke through the window. Steve hits it away from us. Another one lands in and Bucky kicks it to Steve, who used his shield to contain the explosion. Bucky picked up his mattress and blocked a shot then he dropped the bed and threw the table to block the door. 2 agents crashed through the windows. Bucky dealt with one as I dealt with the other. The door behind Steve opened and Steve aimed the agent's gun in the air as Bucky kicked him away.

"Buck, stop! You're gonna kill someone." Steve said and then I heard a thud. I looked over to see Steve on the ground and Bucky punched his arm through the flooring.

"I'm not gonna kill anyone." Buck pulled out a backpack and threw it out the door. More agents came in. I kicked one and the others shot at Bucky who blocked it with his metal arm. Steve moved to block the bullets with his shield. I threw 2 agents into the wall with my white wisp. I looked over to see Bucky through Steve out the window into an agent. I ran over to him to see if he was okay. I heard more gunshots and I looked over to see Bucky busted the door open and ran out. Steve and I ran out of the apartment.

"Suspect has broken containment!" An agent said into his walkie talkie in German. "He's headed down the east stairwell-" Steve grabbed his walkie and crashed it. We started fighting the agents on the stairwell. Bucky threw an agent over the railing and Steve grabbed him before he could fall.

"Come on, man." Steve said and Bucky just looked at him as he knocked out another agent. Bucky ripped off the railing and held onto it as he jumped down to the lower level. Steve threw the agent he was holding into the wall as I threw the 2 I was fighting up the stairs into the wall. I got kicked to the side as Steve threw his shield to protect Bucky who then jumped down the stairwell. I heard him groan and saw him kick a door down. Steve and I made it outside to see Bucky fighting someone on the roof of the next building. A black panther suit. T'Challa.
