I woke up around 1am without Steve by my side. I slipped out of bed and tried to find him. I was about to walk into the kitchen when the sound of Bucky's voice made me stop.

"Are you sure about this?" Bucky asked.

"I've never been more sure in my life, Buck." Steve said.

"All right then, I support you." Bucky said. "I still can't believe this. It's crazy. This is crazy."

"I know." Steve says with a chuckle. "I never thought I would get this chance." What are they talking about?

"When are you doing this?"

"After I return the stones." Steve told him.

"And Mason knows nothing?" Bucky asks. About what?

"Of course not." Steve said. "You know, when Tony and I went to the 70s to get the tesseract I saw her. I saw Peggy. And when I did something just clicked. 100% I know this was right. This is what I want. This is all I ever wanted and I get to have that with the love of my life." Is Steve going back to Peggy?

"This is your second chance, pal." Bucky said as I felt my eyes water.

"And I'm not letting it go." Steve said. I walked back to our bedroom. I climbed into bed and just laid there. He's leaving me.

*Steve's pov*

It was around 1am when me and Bucky were talking at the kitchen table.

"I need to show you something." I said as I pulled a small black box out of my pocket. I opened it to reveal the ring to Bucky. His eyes widened.

"Oh my god. Are you kidding me?" He smiled.

"No, I'm dead serious." I said and placed the ring box down.

"Are you sure about this?" Bucky asked.

"I've never been more sure in my life, Buck." I said.

"All right then. I support you." Bucky said. "I still can't believe this. It's crazy." He tapped the box. "This is crazy."

"I know." I say with a chuckle. "I never thought I would get this chance."

"When are you doing this?"

"After I return the stones." I told him.

"And Mason knows nothing?" Bucky asks.

"Of course not." I shook my head. "You know, when Tony and I went to the 70s to get the tesseract I saw her. I saw Peggy. And when I did something just clicked. 100% I know this was right." I pointed at the box. "This is what I want. This is all I ever wanted and I get to have that with the love of my life." I picked up the box and looked at it.

"This is your second chance, pal." Bucky said

"And I'm not letting it go." I said.

"I'm happy for you." Bucky said.

"Thanks Buck." I grinned. I took a deep breath. "I've been carrying this with me for 2 years."

"Really?" Bucky asked and I just nodded.

"Mason isn't into extravagant things. After I got it I had to get Nat's approval."

"And of course you went old-fashioned with the design." Bucky smirked.

"Mason told me year's ago that she loves that I'm old-fashioned."

"You ask her dad for his blessing?"

"Mason doesn't want her father in her life anymore. He was a monster to her after her mom died. So I didn't ask him."

"But you asked someone?" I nodded.
