Spelivia was at the park with their daughter playing around when Olivia got a call from Simone with her pulling out her phone looking at the contact " just a sec" Olivia said with Spencer and kehlani nodding before liv walked over to a bench sitting down "hey Simone, what's up?" Olivia said "hey girl, did you pick up the groceries for our family gathering tomorrow morning ?" Simone said with Olivia's eyes widening "oh shit, I forget..I've been busy all day" Olivia said with Simone taking a deep sigh
"so are you going to be able to pick it up or?" She asked " yeah..I can do it" Olivia said "okay liv, see yall tomorrow" Simone said "okay,bye" Olivia said before hanging up and walking towards Spencer and kehlani
They pulled up to the store with Spencer turning around facing kehlani "okay lani, I'm sure you already know the rul-" Spencer said before Olivia cut him off "don't touch nothing, don't ask for nothing because you aren't getting anything , oh and don't walk off, stay by our side the whole time " Olivia said making her self clear "well damn" Spencer said while chuckling softly with Olivia rolling her eyes playfully "okay mommy" kehlani said with Olivia smiling at kehlani before her and Spencer got out the car to help their daughter out of her car seat
" daddy can you let me go please, I want to walk" kehlani whined " no " Olivia said "I asked daddy not you" Kehlani said boldly with Spencer and Olivia stopping in their tracks
"don't start with me lani, because if I have to spank you in front of all these people at this store, i will do so" Olivia said sternly "okay, sorry" lani said
Few minutes went by and Olivia was walking in front of them with Spencer's arms hurting from holding lani for too long so he put her down "do you want me to hold your hand?" Spencer asked "no thanks daddy, I'm a big girl" lani said before giggling with Spencer chuckling softly
Kehlani was purposely walking behind her parents slowly when she looked over to her right seeing a whole bunch of Barbie dolls and toys before she jogged over to it quietly
"hey lani do you like th-" Olivia said before turning around not seeing her daughter "Spencer James" She said "what baby?" Spencer said before turning around not seeing kehlani
"SPENCER WE'RENT YOU JUST CARRYING HER" Olivia yelled with her heart beating fast "ye-s I was but i-" Spencer stuttered before Olivia cut him off "DID YOU LET HER GO?" She yelled again "ye-" Spencer said before he was cut off by Olivia slapping him "WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU DO THAT YOU-" she yelled before she stormed off looking for her daughter with Spencer having his hand on his cheek scoffing before catching up with her
(Five minutes later) "KEHLANI JOY JAMES" Olivia yelled with tears going down her face before a cashier walks up to her "ma'am, is that your daughter?" She asked pointing to kehlani playing with some barbies "oh my gosh, thank you" Olivia said before rushing over to her daughter with Spencer following behind her
"and they all live happily ever aft-" kehlani said before her dad tapped her shoulder with kehlani turning around seeing her parents not looking happy
"hi mommy and daddy, wanna pla-" kehlani said before she was cut off by Olivia picking her up walking straight out of the store to their car with Spencer taking a deep sigh before following behind her
As soon as Olivia shut the car door closed she took a deep sigh before turning around facing her daughter "kehlani" Olivia said trying to stay calm "yes" kehlani said "do you have any idea how scared me and your dad were?" Olivia said "no" lani said while looking down
" lani we could've lost you...because you decided to walk off and mess around after I told you not to leave our side in the car " Olivia said with her voice cracking a bit before Spencer started rubbing on her thigh
"I'm sorry mommy and daddy" kehlani said with a tear falling from her eyes "I wanna say it's okay....but it's not " liv paused to take another deep sigh before Spencer stepped in
"baby girl, please don't do something like that ever again...because those five minutes we were looking for you....felt like years " Spencer said
"I won't, I promise " kehlani said "we love you lani" Olivia said "I love you guys too" kehlani said with Spencer and Olivia smiling at her before Spencer started the car and drove off
