6 : The Guitar Guy

"Yes yes! Kim Taehyung...his name is Kim Taehyung!" I punched my table hard, hurting myself a bit.

"And he's the CEO of GOOD FOR LIFE ENTERPRISES, right?" my manager raised her brows.

"Yes, yes! I was trying to remember his name for so long but all my tries went in vain," my voice became loud, as I was kinda excited.

"Ok ok just calm down mam! Why were you trying to remember his name?" she was curious as I stood up from the chair out of excitement.

"I met him during last year's meeting of the business association. His company is somewhat one of the top-ranked in whole Korea."

"So?"

"I'm planning to have a partnership with him. He's a good person and also a successful businessman. We can mend the loss the company experienced from the recent cancellation of the deal with the company from Saudi!"

"Ah you're genius mam!" my manager stood up with excitement, "Perhaps we are going to have a profit which is more than what we would have gained from that shitty fraud company!"

"Yeah I know I'm genius!" I patted myself on my back. After all, there was no one to do that, so...

I immediately called a meeting with my economics team and discussed all the areas that were needed to have a good partnership.

After everything was done, I asked my manager to send a well-written e-mail to GOOD FOR LIFE ENTERPRISES.

"I'm so happy to have a partnership with such a great company of yours" Kim Taehyung shook his hands with mine.

"I'm happier. After all, you're such a great person in the business field," I smiled.

"No, no people like you are the real definition of success!" he chuckled. He had a cute boxy smile and almost looked like he was in his 20s like me.

"Well, if we are going to praise each other like this then we will spend our whole life. Anyways, so the deal is finalized, right?" I asked him, handing him the terms and conditions paper.

"Of course, why not!" he signed without even hesitating.

I also signed at the bottom and that's how the partnership deal was successful.

Both of us shook hands for the last time and I exited the large building. I looked back at the building.'Why all the Kims are good people?' I thought. And of course, I was thinking about the goofiest Kim I'd met in the whole of Korea, the Kim Seokjin.

I got the information later from the owner of the orphanage that he sang there every Saturday. The owner tried to pay him for that, but he straight up refused. He said that the smile of the kids gave him happiness.

"He's the kindest person I've seen on earth!" the owner had told me.

And yes, after thinking about him for a while, I suddenly wanted to go to the coffee house again.

But, I was going back to my home, to tell Appa that I was not lazy. To tell him that I was not afraid of work pressure.

After the car stopped at our entrance, I jumped off the car and ran straight inside. He was having a virtual conversation with my uncle from the U.S.A.

I waited for him to end the call and sat down on the couch in the living room, while he was still in his bedroom.

I picked up a magazine and started reading it. I was reading a fashion magazine for a long time.
