23 : The City of Opportunities!

"Am I looking decent?" Jin asked me, looking at the mirror and buttoning the last button of his shirt.

"You look handsome!" I assured him, although it wasn't a new thing to call him 'handsome'.

"Umm...I know I'm worldwide handsome, but still, I'm nervous today!"

It was normal to feel nervous on the first day of his work. He was appointed as the composer, it was a very prestigious position and Jin was a very dedicated person. He never wanted to mess up, hence the nervousness and tension were explanatory.

I got up from the bed, went to him and I slowly patted his shoulder.

"Don't be nervous! You'll do great!"

He gave me his precious plumpy smile and hugged me. The excitement in his voice came out, "Finally, finally, finally! Dreams came true!"

I heard his giggle and I couldn't stop myself from smiling. After all, seeing him happy was the only thing I ever wished for.

"Hey! Put that dreams aside, look at me! For how long am I going to wear your shirt?" I complained because I brought no clothes with me. I was wearing Jin's favourite blue shirt, and it was too much big for me. My hands disappeared, only one could see the sleeves hanging down.

He looked at me from top to toe and smirked, "You look sexy though!"

I blushed at his statement. I wasn't habitual of getting compliments, because no one ever complimented me. So whenever he said things like that, I couldn't help but end up blushing like an idiot. Pushing him away, I whispered-screamed, "Get lost!"

He smiled, "Okay! We will go shopping once I come back! Till then, keep looking sexy!"

He took his bag and kissed my forehead.
"Stop being shy! Anyways, I am leaving, don't you dare to go alone outside, understand?" he ordered with a husky tone.

"Why?"

"Because you're unfamiliar with this place! You might get lost!"

I let out a laugh, "Huh! I've roamed alone in the streets of Milan. Do you really think I can lose my way back home in Busan?"

"Shut up! Listen to what I'm saying!"

"I won't!

He put his palm on my mouth and stopped me from talking.

"Really you're very talkative!"

I zipped up my mouth after he threw glares at me. He bid me a goodbye and then left.

It was his first day as the composer in 'Serene Entertainment'. He was excited and nervous, and so was I. But I believed him, he's the best!

I looked here and there and searched for something to cook cause I was hungry and I felt like I was going to pass out in hunger. But, there was nothing. Not a single thing to eat.

I was tired of searching for things that were not even present in the apartment. I thought for a while and an idea came to my mind.
'Let's go shopping'

I changed my clothes to those which I wore while coming here. After all, Jin's shirt was not appropriate to wear outside.

The weather was awesome. The streets were busy. And I, I was lost!

I couldn't find the way to the supermarket. I thought of checking maps but yeah, I didn't have a phone. I was standing in the middle of the street, looking like a joker.
