The Metal Phantom

(Third Person P.O.V.)

He never thought he would be defeated. He was finally whole as the sun god. Now Mephiles was stuck in a void beyond time and space only able to watch all realities. He used to have Iblis for awhile until Iblis was reincarnated as the Ifrit and then destroyed, he hated that fact, though even if the Ifrit wasn't destroyed he couldn't merge to become Solaris again. Mephiles spent his time in the void learning how existence truly worked. Things started changing however as Mephiles was slowly being reincarnated. To his dismay however when he woke up out of the void he found out he couldn't fully do anything without something with sentience near him. What seemed like years went by after he was left in the ground of Angel Island where he finally got a taste of power again.

(Time skip to years later)

Mephiles was now known as The Phantom Ruby and landed in yet another reality. Mephiles knew he needed a host in order to carry out what he wanted. One that would accept his power without trying to control his thoughts. As he appeared in this strange new reality he had a idea of what to do. Several hours passed and he found the perfect person to help get to what he wanted. After he was dropped by the person G.U.N. soldiers arrived to take both him and his old vessel away. Mephiles knew that eventually they would try using him as a weapon. Little did he expect just how perfect it would be. "Take out M.S. of storage we finally have something to power up that old husk" a scientist said to one of the soldiers.

(Universe 764693)

A group of soldiers dragged the lifeless robotic hedgehog down to the lab where they were planning to place the mysterious gem into him to power him. They placed Metal's body into a stasis holder to keep him in place. Once the gem was placed into Metal's seemingly lifeless body time slowed down as Mephiles went to see just who he was bonding with.

(Metal Sonic P.O.V.)

It has been at least a few months since I was taken here. Ever since my defeat I locked my own A.I. in my body because it was pointless to be "alive". I couldn't fulfill my purpose even with the Doctor's entire empire. I was expecting to stay here forever while my body was being used as G.U.N.'s puppet. That was when I heard a voice. A voice I never heard before. "So you are the owner of this body...." The voice said. "Who are you? Why are you here?" I asked. "Relax... Metal Sonic.... Correct...?" It said. "You are correct... Though not for much longer." I said that because I knew I was about to become a tool for G.U.N. once this was done. "I see we both have a common goal and interest..." It said. "Who are you" I asked again. "I am Mephiles, Mephiles the Dark." I don't know what exactly this 'Mephiles' is doing here but I can tell he wants something. "Explain what you meant when you said we both have a common goal and interest." I demanded him for a answer. "We both have had our moments of victory taken away from us by a certain blue hedgehog." He said. "Yeah, and what makes you think I will trust you? What can you offer me to make me want to join you?" I asked. "I can offer you the one thing you want. Being greater than Sonic." He said. I was intrigued. "And how is that?" I asked. I then saw visions of Sonic being impaled by a crystalline being that kinda looked like Shadow. "What was that?" I asked. "I simply showed you what I can give you. The power to destroy Sonic once and for all." Mephiles told me. "How do I know you won't just betray me once I give you what you want?" I asked. "Neither of us can betray each other if we become one." Just as he said that I saw myself being clouded by darkness and Mephiles was gone. I started hear his voice was in my head louder though as I transformed into something much greater.

(?????? P.O.V.)

We became one. As time went back to normal and explosion of our newfound power happened destroying the G.U.N. lab within seconds. We looked at our body as it changed from the dark blue it was to dark purple. The empty void of black of our old eyes turned into the dark red and our once red eyes turned green. We knew we didn't have much time as a siren went off warning every single person in the base. None of them were match for us we were too powerful even the strongest of their machines. It wasn't long until we finally heard his voice. "Stop right there!" Shadow finally showed himself. "You aren't going anywhere not after the all the damage you caused." Shadow told us. "You cannot stop us you are not even in the same league of power as us." The Ultimate Lifeform attacked us to barely any effect. Once you realize he could not damage us the same way of any other machine he realized he need to go all out. He took off his inhibitor rings. As we started scanning him. He dashed towards us doing everything to try and destroy us then we finished scanning him "Ultimate Lifeform data has been copied" As soon as we said that Shadow's eyes widen. He realized he had to try and finish this now. He started glowing red and grabbed us. "CHAOS BLAST!" He yelled out causing a explosion to engulf the entire area. He used so much of his power to try and stop us that he could barely stand. "Impossible.... that can't be..." He said weakly as we got up from the wreckage. "What are you...?" He asked with hate and fear. We were about to finish him off and said "We are Rinsin" then we fired a blast turning the once Ultimate Lifeform into ash. We knew if we were gonna continue our plan we needed some help. We used our power to open a portal out of this reality so we can continue our plan.
