You think you can hurt me? my mom asked me if I wanted to live with my dad or with her
Tzuyu, who got a lot more distant sighs, we sit outside the starbucks coffee shop in school, I pout my lips and bite my straw in stress "I'd go with your dad, he doesn't abuse you"
Unlike my mom who is physical, my dad hurts my heart.
Emotional pain deeply cuts you more
"None of them are an option, I'm going with Gabriel" I say and glance at his contacts, I try calling it again and as usual, no rings and no response. "he'll keep me safe"
I see Riguel walking towards us with a grin, I wave at him and he winks at Tzuyu "did you just wink at me" she says out loud making me grin
"Nothing you wouldn't like"
"Shut up, unrequited past lover" he shut up from what she said, this girl really "so, family problems as usual?" I nod at him
"I told them to get a divorce, I wasn't ready when they asked who I'm going with" I shrug and sip on my coffee, he nods and nibbles on his bottom lip "where's Gabriel?"
"I don't know, he contacted me once and said he'll come for me, end of story" I respond and think of where my brother could be, I haven't seen him in a while "I think it's not a good idea too"
"And why is that?"
"He'll probably take you away by force and no consent, I wouldn't mind and Tzuyu also but I think Jimin is another story" he has a point, he hates being away from me "he won't understand"
"He'll have to live by it then, he can't depend on me forever, his world shouldn't be on us only, there are a lot of better things there" I say
"But he loves you" Tzuyu sips on her empty cup of coffee and taps my shoulder "you're going to hurt him real good with that stunt you're gonna pull off, you know him and his pride they exceed the lengths of earth"
"But he doesn't need you in his life, he can live without you" she says while laughing "if you're gone he's not gonna kill himself, unless he's obsessed" the two of them laugh
They're right, life must go on even if I'm not there anymore. even if he can't he must and will have to because the world revolves for everyone not just for one
The cars won't stop working if I leave, the news will go on, the trees will sway, buildings will proceed accepting workers
