Normal P.O.V
Sasuke stared at Naruto, his relaxed face not wavering even to the blonde's outburst. Closing his eyes, he let out a deep breath "are you happy or simply content with him..Naruto?" he asked again, opening his eyes, he narrowed them, searching for some kind of give away on the blondes face.
At last he couldn't find one because Naruto was clearly too riled up to even display any other emotion besides anger. Letting out a small sigh, he reached over and took hold of Naruto's hand, which startled the blonde. Sasuke looked down at their hands, surprised that he hadn't pulled away.
Gently rubbing his thumb over the blondes knuckles, he looked into his ocean blue eyes. What he was about to say was going to be hard to get out, but he knew he needed to say it, and he could only hope that in due time the answer he'll get would be one he could accept with open arms.
"Naruto...if you're truly happy with Shikamaru then you should accept his proposal, I promise you if you do I'll back off for good, and I'll work on being just your platonic friend..." he internally shivered after saying those words.
"But..." he started to speak again.
"But?" Naruto repeated, he had calmed down and was now a little curious in what the raven would say next.
"If you have even a shred of hope for us getting back together, turn down Shikamaru, you don't have to break up with him unless you want to, give me a second chance, I promise to you I won't let you down, if you turn him down, I'll spend every day to make it up to you, to show you how much i've changed, how I'm the only right man for you..." his voice was gentle and his words sweet like chocolate.
Naruto hadn't realized that he unconsciously was leaning in over the table, until Sasuke had let go of his hand, he couldn't figure out why, but he was in awe. "I have to go, but before I leave I should tell you one last thing..."
Leaning in over the table, he whispered into his ear.
"I'm sorry for never saying it before Naruto..."
His voice turned husky and a bit seductive.
"I love you"
A/N: EEEE! Are you guys as excited as I am! Sasuke has finally said it! He's told Naruto that he loves him for the first time! P.S. Next weeks update will be on Thursday since I'm getting my wisdom teeth remove and will need a week to recover, so I plan to update early, the week after though I don't think there will be an update, depending on how I'm feeling.
