Normal P.O.V
Sasuke sat in the coffee shop, he looked around the quiet cafe "can I get you anything else sir?" a waitress asked, he looked over across the table at the empty spot "just a coffee cake please"
"Coming right up"
Sasuke sighed as he took a sip of his black coffee, the coffee cake wasn't for him, but for Naruto, that is if the blonde decided to show up. Sasuke had called over an hour ago, he knew it was a gamble to ask Naruto to meet him if he even liked him a little, for he risked getting his feelings hurt, but he knew that if there was even a chance no matter how small, he had to see it through.

Naruto P.O.V
I stared at the clock in my office, watching the time tick by 'am I really thinking about doing this?!' I bit my lip, I was debating whether or not I should go meet that teme. Not because I like him or anything, I'm just curious what it is he has to say, yeah that's it. I stood up grabbing my coat off the back of my chair.
'I'll just grab one drink' I thought while locking the door to my office. "Are you heading out,sir?" I nodded my head "I'll be out for a bit"
'I'll just stay no more than 10minutes' I made my way to the elevator. 'It shouldn't take that long I-'
"Hold the door please!"
My eyes widened seeing Shikamaru, I placed my hand on the door, keeping it from closing. "Thank you" he sighed out while catching his breath. I gave him a small smile "sure thing"
"Are you going out?"
"Yeah, I'm going out for lunch"
"Oh I'll join you, you can tell me about that caller and-"
"No!" I interrupted 'you can't come with me!' seeing the look on his face, I cleared my throat.
"I mean, don't you still have some work to finish for pops? You should really finish that first, and it turns out it was just a spam caller after all, I already told them off so you don't have to worry about it" I laughed nervously.
"..."
"Plus I already made plans for lunch you see, a friend of mine from out of town is visiting and we were going to catch up, you understand right?"
"I-I guess-"
"Great!"
Before he could say anything, the doors had opened up "this is my stop, see ya when I get back" I stepped out waving goodbye to him with a smile on my face until the doors closed 'why did I lie to him? I've never told a lie before. Would it really be bad if I told him that I was meeting with Sasuke?...He doesn't have to know everything I'm doing! I'm a grown man, I can see whoever I want!'

'How did I end up here?' I thought staring at the coffee shop which stood just 20 feet away from me, I somehow managed to walk all the way to the damn place, I wasn't even sure if I even wanted to meet up with that teme. 'Well I haven't walked in, it's not too late to turn back' I nodded my head in agreement with myself 'but he did come all this way, it'd be rude to not hear him out' I meantally groaned cursing my thoughtful nature.
Shaking me head I pushed the thought aside 'I don't care how far he came, who does he think he is anyways, I'm not obligated to meet him'

I blinked as I stared at the 'open' sign 'when did I?!' I peeked inside the window, I could see him, his back was facing me, and he sat at our usual table 'he remembers our table' I could feel my heart skip a beat, I don't know why that got to me, but without thinking I went inside the shop. As I made my way to the table, I could see how much his figure has changed over the years. His shirt couldn't conceal the muscles that showed on his back. 'Were his shoulders always that broad?!'
I took a seat in front of him, he instantly looked up at me, what looked like relief brushed his face. For some reason I could feel my cheeks heat up. 'His face, why is he giving me such a soft look?! It's like his eyes have gotten darker, I feel like I'd get lost staring at them. His jawline is so sharp I want-' I pitched myself under the table.
'Snap out of Naruto! Get it together! You aren't here to stare at his face, which clearly looks even more handsome! How is that even possible?!!!'
"I'm here...teme"
