Normal P.O.V

"Take care,teme..."

"I couldn't give him an answer..."

"It's neither yes or no..."

"I love-loved you...I would do anything for you Sasuke..."

These words replayed in Sasuke's head like a broken record one after the other. It made him feel hopeful inside, upon arriving at his hotel, he went straight to his room and dialed up his therapist number.

"Sakura!"

"Sasuke?! Where have you've been? I haven't heard from you in two weeks, and you missed all your appointments!" the pinkette yelled.

"I know I know, and I'm sorry about that, but listen...I was just with Naruto! We shared a taxi!" he was beyond giddy and happy to tell her the progress he was making with the blonde.

"A taxi? Wait, isn't Naruto in Kyoto? How is that even-?Sasuke! Please tell me you didn't fly out to Kyoto just to see Naruto?!" she asked worry clear in her tone, she was hoping this would be some kind of joke, for if he was serious that meant Sasuke needed more help than she thought.

"Yeah I did, anyways my plan was to surprise him and take him out for drinks, but then I saw him with that loser boyfriend of his so I followed them to this restaurant, and you won't believe it, that little shit proposed!"

"Then I guess you-" she began but was shortly cut off.

"I ran out before I heard his answer, but then he came outside to get a taxi, oh and Sakura this is the best part...we shared a moment in the car, we reminisced about our past and he touched my face" Sasuke sighed dreamily he was smitten by that action alone.

"He also told me that he didn't say yes that he needed to think about it...so you can't tell me that doesn't mean something right?! Like why would he tell me? It's clearly a sign that he wants to get back together, he's just waiting for me to show him to prove to him that I've changed!"

Sakura thought about what Sasuke had said for a moment, she wanted to tell him that what he's thinking was a big stretch, but at the same time, given Naruto's actions to him, it seems that there was just a small percentage of him that may possibly want Sasuke.

Sakura P.O.V

'Naruto could want Sasuke back, but by the way he's been acting it's almost as if he's unsure, or more so keeping Sasuke at a distance enough that he can have him around, but not close enough to get hurt by him again.' I sighed there so different from my other patients I really wish I could have met them when they were a couple.

'Then again Naruto could really just be seeking friendship from Sasuke and the reason he can't answer yet, is because he wants to make sure Sasuke will be ok on his own...that has to be it!'

"Sasuke you could be right..."

"But?"

"But I think Naruto really wants to move on, and in order for him to do so he wants closure from you and his way of doing so seems to be by seeking a friendship from you" He was quiet after I said that, I could tell I probably hurt him by saying that, but as his therapist I only want what's best for him and it would be best if he could move on since it's not healthy to stay in the past. I can't give him fuel to this hopeless desire he has for, it most likely would never be his reality.

I picked up my notebook, looking through all my notes from our sessions I frowned 'we never really got anywhere until he told me about Naruto that's when he really opened up and we were able to make such good progress, if I can't make him see, all his work would go down the drain and then who knows what he'd do next'

Never in my career have I ever felt like I couldn't help my patients, but now I worry for Sasuke...

Normal P.O.V

Sasuke sat down on his bed, he thought about what Sakura said, and for a brief moment he thought she may actually be right. That was until the image of Naruto putting his hand on his cheek and smiling at him flashed in his head. "Thank you Sakura, I hear you truly, but I don't see why I can't try to win him back while also being his friend"

"You could make matters worst if he catches on Sasuke, I don't think that's a good idea, whatever little bond you created with him now, could be over you don't know how he'll react"

Sasuke simply shook his head "I know my Naruto, I had him once, I can do it again, how hard could it be? He may have changed in the two years we've been apart, but so have I, and I'll make him see that, I have hope so please give me a little more credit"
