Normal P.O.V
"There's a call waiting for you on line 2, sir"
"Thank you"
Naruto stared at his work phone, letting out a sigh he picked up the phone "listen buddy, i'm sure you're only doing your job, but whatever it is you're selling i'm not interested, have a-" he was cut off in the middle of his sentence.
"Wait! Don't hang up!" the voice yelled, throwing the blonde off guard, he knew that deep smooth voice all too well. "Sasuke?!" he whispered/yelled, pulling the phone away from his ear, he sat it down on his desk. Walking over to his door, he peaked out to see if anyone was nearby, seeing all his employees working hard, he looked over at his receptionist.
"Hey Tami, I'm on an important call, please hold all further calls, thank you" he said to the brunette, before closing the door, locking it behind him, he made his way back to his desk. "Sasuke, what are you doing calling me? If this is about business, you'll have to set up an appointment with Shikamaru, if not then you can't call here, you have to leave-"
"I just want to talk about the cab ride" Sasuke interrupted. Naruto paused, he wasn't expecting Sasuke to remember what happened that night. "There's nothing to talk about, we just reminisced about the past that's all" he did his best to sound nonchalant about it. In reality though he was panicking inside.
Naruto P.O.V
'There's no way I said it to him, sure I was about to because of the heat of the moment, but I caught myself from saying it! There's no way he heard it, he couldn't possibly put it together...could he?!'
Normal P.O.V
"You say it's nothing, but I think there is something, I want to talk you, let's meet at that one coffee shop, you know the one, the one you'd show me when we need a quiet place to get away from it all, if you have a shred of liking towards me, meet me there in an hour" was the last thing Sasuke said before hanging up, not giving Naruto a chance to say anything.
A/N: Very short chapter, I know TT-TT hopefully next chapter will be a little longer TT-TT luckily though since i'm updating weekly, it's ok to have short chapters since you guys won't have to wait too long see what happens next :)Please look forward to the next update-Love Yuna💜
