Chapter 4

I had been at CPD for 7 months now and me and Jay had got way closer so close we moved into together
"Brealynn," Jay yelled from the kitchen
"What," I said irritated
"Cranky much," he said
"You know what Jay," I said
"What," he said
"It not my fault God decided that girl need have one week out every month that they bleed," I snapped
"Sorry," he said
"Ugh," I yelled
"Braelynn go lay down," He said
"I need food," I said
"I bring will it to you," he said
I walked back over to the couch and sat down, Jay came over with some snacks
"I have snacks," he said
"Thanks," I said
Once he sat down I lay my head on his shoulder, he leaned his head against mine and grabbed the remote control
"What do want to watch," he asked
"A Marvel movie," I said
"Okay," he said
We start watching Captain America The Winter Solider, I fell asleep quickly and so did Jay, The next morning I woke on top of Jay who was asleep still, quietly ran to the bathroom (if you're a girl you know what she's doing) once I was done I saw Jay sitting up on the couch on his phone
"Yeah Voight will be there," Jay said
I have put my hair when I came out of the bathroom, are radios started going off as soon we got the truck
"Fire at (I forgot what the building was that Jay's dad lived in sorry),"
"That's where my dad lives," Jay said
Backing up, Jay drove to the building that was on fire
"Jay," I said
"What," he said
"He might not be home," I said
"Brea don't try and stop me," he said
"Jay," I said getting out of the truck
"Jay let's go talk to Boden," I said
Before I could even blink Jay ran.
"Jay," I yelled
"Brealynn," Cruz yelled
"Yeah," I said
"Can you help the patient," he asked
"Yeah," I said
I ran over to the squad truck and grabbed one of the medical kits and started to walk over Brett
"What do you need," I asked
"I need you to go give anyone a check-up for burns and injuries," she said
"Got it," I said

A/N
Brealynn is certified and does help as a volunteer paramedic when they need her at 51 when she's not working

I ran over to male
"Hey, I'm paramedic I need make. sure your okay," I said
I looked over a few people when I heard yelling I looked over and Stella on a gurney
"Kelly," I yelled
He looked over at me. I started running towards him
"Hey you hurt," I asked
"No," he said
"Hey calm down," I said hugging him
I went and put the bag back in the squad
"Hey could I get a ride," I asked
"Yeah," Cruz said
"I hoped in the back of squad truck and we all went to med, it didn't take long. We all walked in behind Brett and Foster, I walked over when Kelly was yelling at Herman. I ran after Kelly
"Kelly," I yelled
"What," he snapped back
"Don't ever yell at Herman like that again," I said
"Why she could die," he said
"Kel, she won't okay Herman had no idea she was out okay," I said
Kelly hugged me and left. I went back into med
"Hey have you seen the Halstead," I asked April
"Yeah there with their dad," She said
Right then I saw walking toward me
"Woah," I said
"Move," he said
"Not tell you to tell me why the fuck you left me," I said
"You were helping," he said
I grabbed the keys from his pocket and started walking away
"Hey," Jay said
"Jay I am sorry but I can't deal with my brother's drama okay so need you to. my partner today," I said
"Fine," he said
We got back to the district
(8 hours later)
We found the guy we all were heading out
"Jay your not coming, Brealynn your keys," Voight said
"What," Jay said
"You're too close to this," I said
"Like hell I am," Jay said
Me Jay argued for a bit
"Jay give me your danm keys," I said
"And your two-way," Voight said
I left in Jay's truck leaving him standing there not knowing he was about to call my brother
"Offender down you got to get him some help, lower Wacker and Columbus," Someone said
I and Adam started running
"That Jay," I yelled once we got there
"Jay," I yelled
"Brealynn," he said
"Hey your okay, okay it didn't go through," I said
"Breath," I said
After Jay was getting looked at I left with Adam
"I thought I lost him," I said
"Hey let's go get a drink," Adam said
We went and got. a drink
"Adam I think I like jay," I said
"Woah," Adam said
"I don't think it was seeing him on the ground," I said
