Arya heard a crashing sound a couple of feet away.

She shot up in her bed and looked to the side.
She saw Elliott in a pile of her books and clothes.

"Morning sunshine" they grinned nonchalantly.

Arya got up, grabbed her pillow, and chucked it across the room to them.
It hit them in the face.

"I'm leaving you to clean this mess" Elliott said getting up and leaving Arya's room.
Arya sighed and cleaned up their mess.

She got ready right after and left her house.
She wasn't really planning on meeting the humans again. It was only 9:30 AM right now. So maybe later.

She walked along the trails that led to all the different shops and restaurants.
There was a huge fountain in the middle of everything.
Many kids played around the area, but today it was pretty clear.

She sat right on the edge, looking around.
The huge trees brought peace to her.
The sun wasn't shining brightly, just through the tiny holes that the leaves on the trees didn't cover.

As she dozed off, she soon saw a figure sit next to her.
She figured it was Elliott, so she leaned her head on their shoulder.
"Whoa, we barely met yesterday" a male voice said.
She moved her head quickly.

She looked over and saw the guy that had the headache machine.
He lightly smiled and held out his hand.
"Kais Hagan"

Arya hesitated but shook his hand anyway.
"Arya Dawn.."

He nodded." I know! I've seen you around school a couple times. We were in a couple classes together. I've watched you over the years"

Arya raised her eyebrows." Excuse me?" She grumbled.

He shot up." That sounded really wrong. But, I've wanted to know more about you. You know? You seemed cool" he blurted out as he turned red.

Arya was still a bit skeptical but nodded.
"Ok..."

He sat back down wiping the sweat off his forehead. "you should come by my house someday, see all my inventions" he started. "I have a couple that will be cool and you can use them" he smirked.

When she heard the word "inventions", she knew he was a fire elf. All the fire elves usually had a few projects for inventions that would sell in the stores.
Arya raised an eyebrow." You're a fire elf, makes sense. But I don't know. The first time I've seen you with an invention, it broke. I don't think I can trust your things just yet" she insulted.

Kais frowned." Only a few haven't worked before. But a few doesn't count in the majority of projects I've made" he grinned." Just think about it, ok?" He added.

Arya thought for a second then nodded.
"One day, Kais. Maybe I'll come with my friend. You know Elliott" she smiled. her smile dropped when she realized she hadn't seen Elliott since they left her room. She looked around." Speaking of Elliott, have you seen them?" She questioned.

He thought for a minute.
"Yeah, before I saw you, I saw them walk in the woods. Hope that helps" he says.

She got up and panicked. "Shoot. I'll see you later Kais"

He smiled brightly." You will? Ok" he waved goodbye.
She started running away before she stopped. She realized she didn't have a hoodie to hide her ears.
She went back to Kais before he left as well.
"Hey, this might seem weird, but can I borrow your hoodie that you're wearing?" She asked.

He raised an eyebrow. "so we're already sharing our clothes now?" He questioned  jokingly as he smirked.

She rolled her eyes. "quick question. Did you make the hoodie?" She asked.

He rose an eyebrow. "Are you saying you don't trust it?" He grunted.

"Yeah, I don't trust it" she scoffed.

"Well I bought it from the shop down the road, The Jarrys" he said.

She raised both eyebrows." You must make good money. Or your parents" she said.
The jarrys store was full of nice expensive items.

He nodded." Yeah, well my mom. She's one of the nurses" he smiled.
He took it off and gave it to her.
"Thank you so much" she said running off again.

...

Arya ran the direction of the woods where the huge rock was.
She kept running until she heard Elliott's loud voice.
"AND THATS WHEN I FELL OFF MY BIKE!" They yelled.
She ran up to them once she saw them.
"Elliott!" She screamed angrily.

Elliott quickly looked behind them.
"Ah shoot. You caught me" they put their hands up above their head.

"What are you doing?" Arya questioned.
She looked around and saw that they were almost at the edge of the forest.

"I'm going to their town" they smile as they point to Samaria and Lydia. They waved.

"Elliott, can I talk to you for a second?" She asked.

"Uh ok. Excuse me 'humans'" they walked towards where Arya walked to.
"What's up?" They ask.

"This is dangerous. And that fact you didn't tell me ahead of time. You're lucky I caught up with you" she said.
Elliott raised an eyebrow.
"Well you didn't say I couldn't go over there. You said WE couldn't go over there. Besides, I can do whatever I want" they crossed their arms.

"But I'm here to protect you. And think for you since it's hard for you to do so yourself" she said.
Elliott held in a laugh.

"Damn that was brutal. It's a shame you didn't talk back to your bullies, you would have won" they smirked.

"Hey, that was 6th grade. I was a stuttering mess and anti social. Still am anti social" she pointed out.

"Oh well. But I'll be careful next time, mom" Elliott rolled their eyes.

They both walked back to Samaria and Lydia.

"So are you both coming to our town?" Lydia asked.

Arya shook her head while Elliott nodded their head.
"No, we are NOT going to your town. We are not supposed to" she scolded Elliott.

"Why not? I think you guys would fit right in. Plus, both of you are cool." Samaria spoke up.

"I'd rather not explain. It's nice of you two to invite us though. We'll be going back to our town" she said grabbing Elliotts arm.

"Are we allowed to come to your town?" Lydia asked.

"NO- sorry. You both will get tired by how long it'll take to walk there. Trust me" Arya explained.

"Oh..ok. I guess we'll see you two later. Have a good day" Samaria smiled as her and Lydia walk away.
Arya watched as they walked away until she heard footsteps walking farther away from behind her.
