Chapter 3:"Hoo-mens"

Arya woke up to heavy knocking on her bedroom door.
"Come in?" Arya said confused.

Elliott burst through the door with a hoodie on, black pants, and with the same backpack from last night.
"Hey" they began.
"I haven't changed yet" Arya said yawning.
Elliott looked her up and down.
"I can certainly see that" they acknowledged.

Arya punched their arm.
"Ow- so little, but so feisty" they blurted.
"Hey! I'm only a few inches shorter than you, you're like...5'7"
"Yeah and you're 5'2"they said patting her head.

Arya got up and grabbed her clothes.
She went inside her bathroom and slid them on.
When she got out, Elliott was making another paper airplane.
"Are you ready?" She asked them.
They stood up." Ready as I'll ever be" they smirked.
"Ok, let's go" she replied. She walked out her door and down stairs.
Her mom was down there cleaning the kitchen up.
"Hey mom, I'll be back in a little" she says.
"Ok honey, your sister will be back when you get back" she smiled.

Elliott smiled." Your sister is coming back?!" They ask excitedly as they closed the front door and started walking towards the woods.
"Yep, and that's not a good thing, she-" before Arya could continue, she got cut off.
This guy came barreling into her.
They both groan in pain as Elliott tried to help Arya.

"How dare you hurt my friend you stupid idiot" they yelled.
The guy gripped his head.
He got up and apologized.
"I'm so sorry, I wasn't paying attention to where I was going. I hope you're okay. My head hurts but it's ok, because I have" he pulls something off his tool belt he had around his waist." This headache machine! It simply makes your headache go away!" He attached it to his head and turned it on."Watch this" he smirked.

He flipped a switch and all of a sudden his head starts swinging everywhere.
"Uh oh..." they heard him say.
All of a sudden, the machine flies off his head. People watched from the distance and were laughing.
The boy was just standing there thinking.
"I guess that didn't work. Well, I'll have to make a new one. Anyway, how are you two doing?" He asked.

He looked over at Arya and backed away. A small pink tint on his face as he turned around.
"Uh I'll see you guys later, bye" he ran off looking back.
When he looked back he ran into a big guy with a butchers knife.
The kid got scared and ran again.

Elliott and Arya look at each other and laugh.
After cooling down, they continued to walk in the woods until they saw the big rock.
Elliott took a hoodie from their backpack and threw it at Arya.
"What's this for?" Arya asked.
Elliott pointed to their ears that were hidden by their hoodie." To hid our ears. We can't go walking up to them and showing them that we are elves" they said.

Arya nodded and slid it on." That's smart" she chuckled.

They look around to see if anyone followed them and walked past the rock again.
This time, they walked slowly. Not wanting to run into them before they didn't have a plan.
"So what I'm thinking is that we should ask where they come from, we can make up a name for our town, and we can ask how they live life" Arya noted.
Elliott smiled."yeah...sure. Sounds cool" they say.

Finally, they get to the part of the woods that they saw the humans at.
They sat on two rocks and waited.
They were out of view, since the rocks were behind a bush.

After a couple minutes, they hear walking and talking.
The talking grew louder as they came closer,

"And that's when Jakob pushed me" one of them said.
The other one gasped."That's horrible, when I see him I'm gonna punch the living-"
"Stop it Samaria, he'll stop eventually. Thanks though"

Elliott got up and was about to announce them self on their own but Arya got up too.
They walked away from the bush.
They made a noise once more.
The two people turned around alarmed.
