~The next day~

"Arya, put on your swimsuit" Elliott said. They were practicing their swimming on her bed.

"Elliott, we can't even go swimming. We have to wear a hoodie that can cover our ears" she said.

Elliott shrugged." We can go in half way, just don't get your boyfriends hoodie wet" they smirked,

Arya rolled her eyes." I'm not even gonna wear his hoodie. Besides, he's not my boyfriend" she said standing in front of her mirror with a different hoodie.

Elliott got up from Arya bed and walked over to her, putting an arm around her." That's what they all say" they dramatically look away. " My best friend is falling in love"

Arya pushed their arm off." Stop. No I'm not. We met a few days ago. Love can't happen so quickly"

Elliott walked towards Arya's door and opened it."That's what you believe. You'll see Arya. Just wait" they scold.

Arya shrugs and grabs her bag from the bed.

They both walk out of the house and leave.

"Don't you think they'll get suspicious of the hoodies?" Elliott asked.
Arya thought for a second.

"You're right...after today we'll have to find a way to meet up with them without our hoodies"

...

They finally got to Samaria and Lydia who had their swim suits on and towels.
"Hey! I'll lead the way" Lydia said.

They followed Lydia while making conversations.
Arya found that they were really easy to talk to. They were both talkative but in a good way.
Lydia was more careful with how she talked. And Samaria was more carefree. She reminded Arya of Elliott.
Arya also realized the whole group was taller than her.
"How tall are you two?" Arya asked out of nowhere not knowing she interrupted a deep conversation about bagels.
"I'm 5'9 and Lydia is 5'6" Samaria smiled.

Arya mentally cried. Her short genes came from her moms side.

They finally arrived to the lake after a couple minutes of walking.

Samaria jumped straight in.
"Woah, it's cold!" She hollered.

Arya walked over to the water and touched it.
She could warm up the water easily for them.
But it might get out of control and start burning them.
She put some effort into warming the water as Lydia jumped in.
"Uh, Samaria its a bit warm...DID YOU PEE?" she screamed.

Samaria scoffed."I did not pee! The water temperature changed out of nowhere.." she said.

Arya raised her eyebrows and walked a little bit down stream where there was rocks and barely any water.

She watched as Samaria and Lydia swam in the river. They were having fun.
Elliott was standing in the water near the rocks close to Arya.

They both watched as the girls laughed and had fun enjoying each other's company.

Finally Lydia looked over.
"Are you guys coming in?" She yelled to them. raising her eyebrow.

Elliott smiled." Yeah, later though"

"Alright, hurry up though. We can see who swims the fastest" Samaria smirked." I personally think I'm the fastest, even though I've never seen you two swim. Only time will tell to figure out" She continued to swim along with Lydia.

Elliott looked over at Arya and grinned." She has no idea"

Arya giggled. "It'd be fun to show her different. But unfortunately the water is too much for my preciousness" Arya dramatically turned her head and put a hand up to her forehead.
