Ryan's POVAfter Klaus didn't come back, I decided to just leave the hotel. I headed to the Salvatore Boarding House, wanting to see Damon again and make sure be definitely was alive.
I built up my courage as I walked down the driveway and to the front door. I opened it as silently as possible so they wouldn't know I was there.
"Is this what Klaus had in mind when he compelled you to protect Elena?" Damon questioned Stefan when I entered. They hadn't noticed I was there.
In the living room, Stefan was sitting on the couch, a twister spinner in hand. There was a twister mat laid out on the floor, which had three girls on it, all with bite marks on them.
"These ladies are helping me be all that I can be," Stefan claimed. I decided it was the perfect opportunity to speak up and alert my brothers of my presence.
"What? A douchebag?" I asked rhetorically and they both turned round to face me. Once realising who I was, Stefan rolled his eyes before turning around. However, Damon's face held a huge smile.
"Ryan! Finally. My favourite brother," Damon complimented me and I chuckled, picking up an empty glass and filling it with bourbon. Then, there was a knock on the door and Damon went to answer it.
"Where's Stefan?" A familiar voice spoke once Damon had opened the door. He closed it as she walked into the house.
"Who the hell are you?" Damon queried, clearly confused on who she was.
"He left me here. My brother actually left me here," Rebekah informed us, walking towards Stefan who was on the couch, not even noticing me yet.
"I'm sorry, your tone implies that I'm actually supposed to care," Stefan retorted.
"You're Klaus' sister?" Damon asked, trying to confirm his thoughts.
"Rebekah. Pleasure, I'm sure," she introduced herself, turning her head to face Damon who was still slowly walking back into the room.
"Which one's my room?" Rebekah pondered, turning back around to face Stefan, who then started to laugh with no real humor or happiness behind it.
"You're not staying here," Stefan told her, clearly not caring after his humanity was switched off.
"And why not? She can have the room next to mine," I spoke up and everyone turned to look at me. Damon and Stefan had annoyance practically written on their faces, whilst Rebekah looked hopeful and happy.
"Finally, someone with common sense. Thank you, Ryan," Rebekah thanked me before walking upstairs, her bags in hand.
...
Rebekah decided to go to school. Considering I was too old, and only ever signed up because Stefan practically forced me to, so I could protect Elena, I decided not to go. I just stayed at home.
I was relaxing in my bedroom, sketching Rebekah in my sketchbook. I captured all of the details of her face precisely, in my opinion that is.
After school there was supposed to be a party, but I wasn't in the mood. I still couldn't believe Klaus left. I had a choice to either stay in Mystic Falls for the summer or go with Klaus. I decided to go with him to hunt werewolves. I had sacrificed so much for him, and even opened up to him. It was just so unfair.
A/N
I'm sorry this chapter is way shorter than usual, I just couldn't really picture Ryan in this chapter. Don't worry, the next will be much longer.
