Another day of effort wasted as the wires of the cage remain unmoved, no matter how hard I strike on it. I look at my palms and fingers that are scraped.

'You can't do this to me, I'm the prince!' Grappling with the mermaids who were getting hold of my sides, I stared at Auntie Lisa at the back, the person I hated all time.

My days were finally tinted with colors since I had Beomgyu by my side, why did she intrude my life again?

'You still remember you're a prince huh? A prince who committed the greatest sin of human intercourse? Two more days and I won't need to deal with you brat after the marriage.' Auntie Lisa crossed her arms, ordering the servants to lock me inside a cage.

'Two more days? What do you mean? Isn't it the next year?' My heart dropped a beat.

'We are arranging your big day earlier, in case you're, you know, being rebellious again.' She said casually like she didn't care about my consent.

I slammed the cage angrily to the sudden announcement.

'Manner, boy. If not for your blood, nobody here cares about you.' She brushed her sheeny long hair to the back still in arrogance.

It was rather hard not to compare this nasty aunt with Beomgyu's loving aunt. I didn't ask for care, I just hoped the mermaids could stop bothering me.

'At least you are still keeping this.' A harsh pull from her hand detaching the pendant from my necklace.

'Give me back my family heirloom!' I reached out my hands through the wires, she drifted backwards to get out of my range.

'Stay here and behave, maybe I'll return it to you.' She wore an evil smirk before leaving me.
