Summary: A new coffee shop has just opened just across Weasley's Wizard Wheezes. Fred finds something more than coffee there.

I breathed in the scent of freshly brewed coffee as I headed inside of the coffee shop, arriving just in time for my shift.

"Good morning Y/N!" Holly greeted as I timed in for the day.

"Good morning Holly!" I returned the greeting, tying my hair back in a ponytail.

"Busy start?" I asked as I put on my apron and headed to my station.

Holly shrugged, "Quite. Business is booming after all."

(Fred's POV)

"Another late night?" George asked as I trudged down the stairs, giving a small yawn.

I nodded, stretching a bit, "A truckload of paperwork that needed filling out kept me up."

"You know." George said, "There's a coffee shop that just opened down the street. Why don't you pop over there and get some coffee for us while I open up the shop."

I laughed, running my fingers through my hair, "Why does it sound like something along the lines of: asking a toddler to go buy himself some candy so you can have five whole minutes of peace and quiet."

He rolled his eyes at me, "Just get the coffee you idiot."

I grabbed some spare change from the counter and headed over to the coffee shop.

The smell of coffee that hit me was enough to awaken my senses. I patiently stood in line, my hand tucked in the pockets of my jeans.

"Good morning sir! Can I get your order?" A sweet voice asked.

I looked up and was met with the most beautiful y/e/c eyes. Everything else faded into the background as she gave me the sweetest smile I've ever seen. Her eyes sparkled even better than the biggest diamonds in the world.
She was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen.

(Reader's POV)

The next person in line was a tall ginger. And let me tell you, he's as handsome as hell.

The suit he was wearing showed off his muscles perfectly.

He looked like something straight out of heaven, straight out of the hands of God.

He seemed to be in a daze, so I tried to get his attention, "Sir? Is everything alright?"

He blinked, snapping out of his trance as he gave a shy smile, "Yeah, sorry. Just zoned out for a bit."

I gave him a small smile, "So, can I get your order?"

He nodded, licking his lips, "Yeah. So, I'll get one macchiato and one espresso."

"Busy day?" I asked, "I mean, with that much caffeine, you must be in for a long day."

He chuckled, "Yeah. With business booming and a bunch of paperwork to fill out, the caffeine helps keep us going."

"Can I have your name?" I asked.

The ginger smiled, shooting me a small wink, "It's Fred Weasley, darling."

I felt my cheeks heaten up at the nickname,
"Interesting. Are you by any chance related to the owner of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes?"

Fred laughed, "Darling, I am one of the owners."

My jaw dropped, "Oh Godric, I-I'm sorry for not recognizing you sooner. No wonder you looked so familiar."

Fred grinned, "Don't worry about that sweetheart. Attending Hogwarts with a twin, very few people could tell us apart."

I handed him the coffee, "It was nice meeting you and being able to talk to you Fred."

Fred smiled, "I'm so glad that I met you. And you might be seeing me around more often."

Holly playfully nudged me in a teasing manner once Fred headed out, "He totally likes you."

I rolled my eyes at her, "No. He doesn't."

"He totally does." She insisted.

"And you like him too." Holly added.

I smiled, "So, what if I like him? Holly, he's the owner of Weasley's Wizard Wheezes for goodness sake! He has so much options - better ones, if I may add - out there. So, why would he choose a simple barista like me?"

Holly rolled her eyes, "Because he finds you gorgeous."

"No. Holly, he does not."

I took off my apron, hanging it on the peg, "I'm taking my break. I'll just go on a little walk."

(Fred's POV)

"What took you so long?" George asked as I stepped back in the shop, "Was starting to think that you fell asleep at the coffee shop."

"How could I fall asleep Georgie?" I said, leaning against the counter, "When she's so breathtakingly gorgeous."

"Who?" My twin asked as he sipped his macchiato, suddenly interested in where the conversation was heading, "Who's breathtakingly gorgeous."

I sighed, not having the ability to keep her out of my head, "The barista at the coffee shop. Her eyes sparkled so beautifully under the sunlight.
Her smile was enough to light up the whole world. She's just so gorgeous Georgie. I can't get her out of my head."

"That's amazing Freddie!" George said with a huge grin, "So, what else?"

I started to ramble on about the conversation we had, then George gave me a look.

"What?" I asked, "Why're you looking at me like that?"

He raised a brow, "You really don't know?"

"I missed something, didn't I?" I asked.

"Yes, you idiot. What's her name?" He said.

"Her name is uh, oh shoot! I forgot to ask for her name." I said, getting up and running out of the shop.

"Where're you going?" George called out.
"I'm going to get her name!"

I ran into the coffee shop, thankfully, it wasn't so crowded. I approached one of the baristas stationed at the cashier.

"Hey, is the barista who I talked to earlier still there?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yeah. She is already on her break, but she went out for a walk."

"Do you know where she went?" I said, running a hand through my hair.

Her friend thought about it for a moment, "I am 99.9% sure that she went to the bookstore that's at the end of the street."

After thanking her friend, I immediately ran to the bookstore, hoping to catch up to her.

Just to my luck, I ran into her once she was heading out of the bookstore, causing her to tumble into my arms.

"Hey Fred!" She greeted with her amazing smile, "I didn't expect to see you again so soon."

I chuckled, "Yeah. I actually forgot to ask you something."

She raised a brow, "What?"

"I forgot to get your name." I admitted.
She chuckled, moving a lock of hair away from her face, "It's Y/N."

I smiled, "Since we got that cleared. I was wondering if you wanted to go out with me sometime, I mean, it doesn't necessarily have to be a date. But-"

She had effectively shut me up by kissing my cheek, "I would love to go on a date with you."
