Summary: It has been a stressful week but, lucky for you, Fred is there to help you relax.
To say that it was a long and hard week was an understatement.
The week basically consisted of stress, crumpled parchment, endless hours in the library, and seeming like the universe had something against you.
At least, the weekend was just within reach.
You were trying to get the last essay of the week done so that you could sit back and relax.
"Yes!" You said in triumph as you placed the final period on your essay - you were finally done.
The essay was now tucked away in your bag as you plopped down on the common room couch at the same time your boyfriend came into the room - fresh from detention with Filch.
"Hey love." He greeted, pressing a quick kiss to your cheek, "Ready for the last class of the week?"
You stretched a little before standing up, lazily leaning your head against his shoulder, "Ready to get it over with? Definitely."
"That's my girl." He chuckled before the two of you set off to History of Magic hand in hand.
Today, the universe seemed to be by your side as the next thing you knew, the bell rung and Professor Binn's droning was put to a halt.
The minute you stood up, ready to head out of the classroom and into the void of relaxation, you felt an arm slung over your shoulder.
"You alright love?" He asked, walking the two of you out of the classroom.
"Yeah." You nodded, "A bit tired - but, I'm glad this week is finally over and I can relax."
"They're going to work my poor baby to death." Fred cooed, pressing a kiss to your temple.
You chuckled, "Hopefully not to death, you won't get rid of me that easily."
"Lee, George and the rest of the gang were planning on going to Hogsmeade tonight and get some drinks at the Three Broomsticks - you want to come?" Fred asked.
You shrugged, "Honestly, I don't know whether I'm up for it. But, I'll think about it."
"If you won't go - then, I won't go too." He said.
Looking at him, you tried to protest, "Freddie, you don't have to do that on account of me, you can go - I'm not stopping you."
"I want to spend time with you." He simply said, "You had a busy week and we weren't able to spend much time together, so I don't mind not going with them, as long as I'm with you."
You couldn't suppress the smile on your lips as you said the password and the portrait door swung open,
"What did you do this time?"
He dramatically gasped, feigning offence as he placed a hand over his heart, "How could you accuse me of that! I'm just being a sweet, loving and caring boyfriend but you accuse me of doing something. How could you?"
"Really? Or you did something?" You laughed.
Fred teasingly shook his head, crossing his arms over his chest, "You're my girlfriend! You're supposed to trust me."
"I do!" You said between fits of laughter, "But, do you really expect me to believe that you would rather stay here with me than go get drinks with George and Lee?"
"Why?" He asked, "Is that so hard to believe?"
You shrugged, "Maybe. I mean, George is your brother and Lee is your best friend."
