I'm in my room working on the project Jules and I were assigned, I mean I need to do something right? Julie might have to quit the band and it worries me. I start the coloring process and I need a break. I walk downstairs and Luke is sitting on the floor in my kitchen, he has his head on his knees.

"Hey, are you okay?"

He looks up at me with wet eyes, he obviously didn't hear me walk in, "I went to see my parents. I didn't want to go back to the guys so I came here."

I walk over to him and sit in front of him, I put my hand on his arm, "Why didn't you come and get me?"

"Because it was a school night and I didn't know if you were sleeping."

"Look, if I was sleeping, you could have woken me up. You need someone right now," I put my arms out and he leaned over and pulled me into a hug. He buried his face in my chest. I could feel the wet from his tears, but I didn't care.

He pulled away and he didn't have anymore tears. "Thank you."

"Of course. Anytime you need me just ask," I stand up and hold my hand out for him. I walk over to my fridge to get a water. "Well, I think I'm going to sleep. You're welcome to stay here if you need to."

"Nah, I think I'm good. Thanks again," he pulled me into another hug.

"Like I said, anytime Rockstar."

He smiled at the name and disappeared. I sigh and walk back upstairs. I change into my pajamas and crawl into bed. I lay there for a couple minutes thinking about how much my life has changed since I had met the band. They brought song-writing and my two bestfriends back to me. Thinking of all this, I drifted off to sleep.

My alarm goes off. I yawn and stretch. I look at my phone and I have a text from Julie saying to meet her at her house before school. I go over to my closet and pull on sweatpants and a t-shirt. Today is Friday, the day of our big dance at school. I walk downstairs and tell my mom where I'm going.

"Okay! If you see the guys tell Reggie I said hi!"

"You got it mom!"

I walk over to the Molina household and I hear two voices singing Finally Free. I knock and when Julie opens the door it gets louder. We walk into the kitchen and I see Reggie and Ray singing together. "Well this is new!"

"Yeah, I decided to make you girls breakfast," Ray smiled at us.

Reggie giggled, "He thought you were talking to him. Me and Ray are pals now! It's a little one-sided, but it works."

Ray sighed, "Look, after our talk last night, I was thinking that I may have cost you girls an opportunity with that manager. So I was thinking-"

"No Mr. Molina, I should have never encouraged Julie to sneak out."

"And I shouldn't have snuck out"

"Let the man speak! He's been stress eating all of last night and today. I just don't know where he puts it all. It's firm, so."

"I know, but I really want to support the band, so I called in some favors, and booked you guys a local gig."

Reggie was excited, "Best dad ever!"

"Oh my gosh. Where? Did you call your buddy from Drakes?"

"Not quite. I called Flynn, and she's going help us throw a party. Here. Tonight."

"Oh!" I said.

"So you booked us a gig at our house?"

Reggie sighed, "Maybe I was a little early on the 'Best Dad Ever' award."
