Part 3/5 Sorry it took so long. I don't really like most of it but I hope you like it. Enjoy.

Cady woke up to the sun peeking through the curtains and the smell of freshly made coffee. She was laying on her stomach, hugging her pillow tightly.

This doesn't feel right.

She reached out to the other side of the bed, just to find it concerningly cold and empty. Janis never left the bed before her, ever since they landed in Reykjavik, heck ever since she's known her. It was always her slowly climbing off of her, appreciating the few moments she got to herself in the morning. So why was she alone? Did she leave?

"Janis?" She called out, propping herself up on her elbows, worst case scenarios already flooding her mind.

"Good morning sleepyhead.." A voice called. She spotted Janis on the other side of their room, sitting on the floor, in front of their window, with her back turned to her. Beside her was a cup of tea and a set of pencils.

Janis smiled warmly at her as she looked over her shoulder. "How did you sleep?"

"Surprisingly good." Cady blushed a little. She would be lying if she said that she didn't enjoy falling asleep in Janis arms, but that's a conversation for another day.

"Whatcha doing there?"

"Come over here and see." Janis smirked, not looking up from what Cady guessed was her sketch book.

How rude. Cady thought as she let herself fall back into the cushions staring up at the ceiling.

"But I don't wanna leave the bed.."

"I thought you wanted to see my drawing?"

"Yeah but the bed."

"But the drawing"

"But the VERY comfy bed"

"Yeah but MY drawing."

"Ugh good point."

But Cady made no effort to move, she just kept staring at the ceiling, enjoying the warmth and comfort of the bed... until she felt two cold hands holding onto her ankles, dragging her off of it.

"JANIS!" Cady screeched as she found herself on Janis lap, her best friend laughing underneath her. "Not funny!"

"A little funny" Janis chuckled. "Now. I'm gonna take a shower." Janis gently removed Cady from her lap, standing up slowly.  "And if you're still in bed when I come back... there will be serious consequences..." She turned around with a little wink slowly making her way to the bathroom.

This woman. Cady thought as she grinned, her gaze following her as she left.

She really wanted to see what Janis was drawing, but as soon as she heard the bathroom door click shut she took a sip of Janis' what turned out to be peppermint tea and jumped right back into bed, cuddling a pillow, hoping to get just a few more seconds of sleep.

---

When Janis came back out of the bathroom she was actually very pleased to see that Cady was still peacefully sleeping in their shared hotel bed. It wasn't because of the way she was hugging the pillow, both her arms and legs tightly wrapped around it. It wasn't because of the way her hair was falling in cute but messy waves over her shoulders and it definitely wasn't because of the slightest whistles she let out as she breathed evenly.

But it was because Cady had to live with the 'serious consequences' now.

Janis slowly made her way up to the bed, kneeling down onto the mattress gently. She stopped to look at her for one more second, before she wriggled her fingers with a little grin on her face and started tickling Cady's sides.
