CHAPTER SIX

AS THEY WALKED over to the Ferris wheel, Lucy and Bucky had to push through crowds of people. Bucky didn't want to lose Lucy, so he gently rested his hand on the small of her back, pulling her body flush to his.
Lucy involuntarily blushed at the intimate contact, relishing in the feeling of Bucky rubbing his thumb in circles on her back. She had no problem getting close to him as they made their way through the crowds, easily tucking into his chest like they were two puzzle pieces made to fit together.
They both thanked the old man working the ride, his nametag reading Stan, as Bucky helped Lucy into the cart. "Careful, honey. Don't trip."
Once they were both settled in, the man lowered the bar over their laps and smiled at them, a nostalgic look in his eyes. "You two remind me of my wife and me all those years ago. Young love is the best feeling in the world, don't let it go to waste."
