Just shortly after he was freed from the chains of his mind, another war arose. This one was bigger than usual, so challenging that not even the greatest heroes of the universe could proclaim victory.
Thanos had a mission in mind, going up against the universe's mightiest heroes to gather each Infinity Stone, and he won. The heroes lost.
