Wiping away the sweat on your forehead, you stop chopping wood and looked up at the sunset, a smile visible on your lips.
Soft meowing was heard and you look down to see a small white cat that cling onto your leg.
Picking it up gently, you pet his head as he purrs, snuggling into your hand as you smile at him.
Picking up the stack of wood, you bring it inside of your small home and place it near the fire place. Placing Sora on the couch, you went back outside to pick up the axe near the tree stump.
Giving the stars one last glance, you smile and whispered a good night before heading inside to make some dinner.
Cooking something up for you and Sora, you hear the cat playing with a ball of string in the other room before it came to a stop.
Its soft footsteps could be heard as he meows, looking up at you as you stood there, waiting for his food.
Just as you were going to him it was almost done, a knock at the door interrupts you and wipe your hands with a cloth.
Opening the door, an elder stood there with a basket in his hands. He had brought over some vegetables since you helped him earlier that day. Thanking him, you close the door and went back to finishing Sora's dinner.
Placing his food near his water bowl, you pet his head before going back into the kitchen to make some Almond Tofu.
Placing a strand of hair behind your ear, the sound of a window opening was heard in the other room making you smile a bit.
Without taking your eyes off the pot on the stove, you smiled to yourself as you know it was a certain Yaksha.
Sora's loud meows confirmed that it was him indeed and you walk to the room to see him and Sora sitting comfortably on balcony of your house, Xiao petting the small animal.
He looks rather peaceful as his golden eyes stare down at the small animal on his lap before he notices you standing there without saying a word, a smile visible on your face.
Neither of you say anything as you nod your head at him before heading back to the kitchen and soon after, the food was done. Placing a plate near Xiao, he watches your every move as you sit down beside him but not before leaving a few space between you two. You knew how he felt about being near mortals so you respected his personal space.
Placing a spoonful of Almond Tofu in your mouth, you eat as you watch the stars shine ever so brightly outside as Xiao does the same.

The next morning, you wake up to see Sora curl up next to you, sleeping peaceful before you sit up. Placing a hand to your head, you blink your eyes from sleep as you stretch your limbs in order to get ready for the day.
Taking a sip of water, you read down the list of what to do once again. It seems like you're needed by Mr. Zhongli down at the harbor tomorrow to discuss a few things?
That was strange, he never once ask for your presence unless it was for something important since he knew of your ties to Inazuma and other things as well.
Thinking of your schedule, you were sure you had the day off so you chose to go to Liyue Harbor today since it would take you some time to reach there by foot.
—
Zhongli just had finish explaining to the traveler and his companion about the current state of Inazuma when he spots a familiar figure near the crowd a few feet away from them.
Long (H/C) hair tied up in a high ponytail with a small ribbon securing it and her clothing seems to be of high class as she tried to avoid the crowd.
Her kimono flowed elegantly with every step she took before she made eye contact with him, nodding her head a bit to which he return.
The click of her sandals went unnoticed by the pair standing in front of Zhongli, still waiting for him to speak again.
She stood behind them with a word before Zhongli chuckles, "I could have killed you in a heartbeat."
"Gah!?" Paimon screaming, as the blonde traveler jumps from the sudden voice in his head, a very unfamiliar calm voice.
"Who said that!?" Paimon continues to scream as Zhongli sighed before introducing the woman.
"Traveler, Paimon, this is Phoenix." He introduces the female who stayed quiet, watching their every move before Zhongli softly took ahold of her hand and placed a soft kiss on her knuckles before bowing his head a bit.
"Zhongli, it's been a while. How have you been? Especially with the situation that you faked your own death, how are you feeling?" She asked him before noticing Paimon pointing at her with a frightening expression on her face.
"S-she-" she faints with a loud thud as Zhongli and the female sweatdropped as the traveler tries to wake Paimon up.
"How about we take this conversation somewhere else?" Phoenix says before feeling multiple eyes on her along with a few whispers in the air. "And we're gaining too much unnecessary attention as well."
Placing a hand on both Zhongli and the traveler, who held Paimon, they all vanish from the area. Leaving only specks of glowing maple leaves behind.
"Now, please tell me why you summoned me?" She demands, her voice staying calm as she stares at the traveler before looking at Zhongli. They were just outside the city with only a few passing citizens near by.
