Teppei couldn't remember what happened next, one moment he feels his body beginning to shut down and the next, he's laying on a bed with other victims of the delusions.

His memory was fuzzy, he remembers Aether and Paimon and remembers seeing the silhouette of a person, offering him a hand.

Was....Did he witness a goddess in his final moments?

"Oh, you're awake. Tell me, how do you feel?" He looks up and jumps back.

A woman with [H/C] hair, wearing what he thinks was a ever expensive kimono, standing beside the bed he laid.

"Y-you're-"

The woman laughs a bit and he could feel his face starting to get heat up, "My apologies, my name is Phoenix. I was the one who was able to heal your body back to its original form but I'm afraid it took a heavy toll on me."

"O-oh, thank you for saving me."

She smiles, "just worry about yourself for now, my husband happened to arrive just in time as I collapsed from exhaustion."

"H-husband?" Ah, so this woman already had someone, Teppei sighs but nods.

"You just rest and no getting out of bed until the healers say you're good to go, okay?"

"Alright."

He watches as Phoenix walks away, heading towards two woman whispering to each other.

"So, you're sure she's not here?"

"I've asked and no one seen someone who looks like her or heard of her. Except, something about this [Y/n] tells me that Fu-"

You approach the two girls from behind, "Theresa and Kiana, what are you two whispering about over there?"

They flinch as they hear your voice, quickly turning around to see you standing a few feet away from them. Your arms crossed on your chest as you looked down at them.

"U-uh, we were talking about how cool your healing abilities are..." They laugh but you didn't buy it one bit, so you just dismissed them.

"Alright then, but please keep helping around. New victims of delusions are still appearing."

They could see how worried you were as if you've seen this already.

Kiana decided to ask, "did you...already experience this once?"

You remember an incident back at the old village, one of the men had some how managed to get his hands on one and tried to challenge you.

"There were two actually, one was a father of a good friend, it backfired and killed his father instead. The other was one of the men from the village I was protecting, he challenged me and in the end, I killed him."

Kiana and Theresa were a bit shocked but didn't show it on their faces.

"That was after a year after my teacher disappeared, the first time I spilled blood on my hands, was to kill a man who wanted to take my place." Your voice was low as you spoke, "There was also another incident but till this day, it still haunts me and I can't bring myself to tell Kazuha."

Kiana frowns and tried to comfort you, placing a hand on your shoulder, "he'll understand! You two are lovers aren't you?"

You look at her before looking down. "Yes, but this....is different." You wished to forget that memory but it was also the day where you saw your teacher as someone dear to you.
