You continued to wrap the bandages around your arms and hands due to them getting wet earlier.

"So, this is your teacher?" You notice Aether standing in front of the hologram of your teacher in the middle of the temple.

You give a hum, indicating that it was.

"She saved me when I fled from Inazuma and took me in." You explained as you move your fingers to make sure the bandages weren't tight. "She disappeared soon after she thought I was ready and I haven't seen her since."

Aether looks at you before looking back the picture of older woman.

"After she disappeared, I had no choice but to become the guardian. So, I sealed myself inside this temple and continued to train and before I knew it, 50 years passed."

Aether turns to give you a very confused look and you noticed this. "This temple is unique, time passes much faster than the outside world and I spent more time in here with my teacher."

Aether couldn't really wrap his head around all this information, you looked so young depsite being in here for centuries.

"My teacher performed a ceremony of immortality on me before she left, I looked around 23 years old when that happened meaning how I look now. So when I sealed myself, I already gained immortality and so I didn't age being in here." You continued to explain since you saw Aether struggling to gain this information.

"That hologram looks so real, doesn't it?" You approach Aether and look at it, you both gaze at the memory of your teacher.

"There was something I wished to always ask her," You spoke in a rather soft voice. "I didn't notice it at first but there was always a hint of sorrow in her eyes hidden behind the smile she would always give me. Why did she look so sad?"

Aether glanced at you before looking back at the picture.

"I hope she's doing well wherever she is." You say as the two of you stood there, gazing the hologram.

Phoenix stands a few feet from the entrance of the village, she hesitates to take another step but does it neither the less.

"Till we meet again." She murmurs as she walks away from the place she called home for so long.

She looks up to see Aether and Paimon ahead of her, the little white haired girl excitedly waves at her.

She lets out a genuine smile as she holds Sora in her arms before walking towards the pair.

Leaving her home behind to start a new adventure.

Except that was mistake.
