Act 4: Fu Hua, Sentience and Rai

"Wake up!"

Opening my eyes, I see pitch darkness as I sit up upon hearing a voice commanding me to wake up.

"There we are, so, how do you feel?"

How do I feel? I don't feel anything.

"Huh? Is that so?"

I look up to see a short kid with long (H/C), with brown eyes staring back me in a white outfit also wearing brown boots.

"I thought grown ups were supposed to be smart and stuff, guess I was wrong."

Who am I? Why can't I remember?

"It's been nearly a month and no tracks of (Y/n), are you sure she's still alive?" Aether looks at Paimon who is looking at the map, specifically at the large, red circle marked on the map. Kazuha had ordered some members of the clan to go to the area but since they were all tired, he volunteered to go instead.

He nods his head, he was sure they could maybe find her there. Even if there were small traces of her, she had to be alive, she wouldn't die like that, right?

"I HATE YOU!"

Fu Hua stares at Sentience who continues to yell at her, "I HATE YOU, I HATE YOU!" The grey haired continues to yell but Fu Hua looks unfazed before she pulled up by her collar.

"If only you stepped in....she would still be here!"

She lets of Fu Hua, who stumbles back at the sudden force, "She was destined to die, there nothing, I nor you could do, her fate never changes—"

"You're afraid! You're scared of losing her again just like last time!"

"We shouldn't interfere in worlds we don't belong in, you know that."

"Oh, and just let (Y/n) die every time?"

Sentience grits her teeth, knowing she hit a weak spot for Fu Hua who goes quiet.

"I'm scared too but I want to try...no, I will change her fate every single time, starting with this one!" Fu Hua's eyes go wide at this as she watches Sentience walk away, this time, she had her very own body, meaning she no longer needed to be sealed in Fu Hua, as the two shared the same body.

"I lost her too, you know, you're not the only one in pain." Sentience whispers before she disappears, teleporting back to Inazuma as she stood before the placed where the fight occurred.

"Herrscher of Realities, Kaedehara Rai, reporting to Overseer Theresa-"

A whited haired male pops up on Theresa's screen, and the way he introduced himself made her eye twitch.

"Rai, that's not your name, you know that."

"Awe, but it sounds cool, right?"

"No, it's doesn't."

Rai sighs before going back to his serious self upon hearing Kiana's voice, "oh, is that Rai? He's back?"

Kiana shows up on the screen, "It's nice to see you two again, it's been a long time." Kiana raises a brow at this, "it's hasn't been that long-"

"Well, when you travel between realities, it feels like forever anyways, I tracked you guys down because I found something."

"Well, what is it?"

"It's about—"

"Please tell me who you are! Who am I?"

The child tilts her head to the side, before an empty smile grows on their face, eyes staring into yours before answering. The collar covering her neck slides down to reveal a couple of numbers in black ink as you look at it confused. Who was this child?

"Who, me? I am you."
