I am on my way to my jet to pick up Scarlette and Karla. They are shopping for a wedding dress, I parked my car and got out to grab the bags from one of the flight attendants. Karla and Scarlette got off the jet and walked over to the car.
Once I put everything in the trunk and she has more stuff being shipped over after I told her she doesn't need a lot of stuff. Scarlette sat in the front and Karla sat behind Scarlette. The ride was quiet on the way back to my house.
We entered the gates and pulled up to the front steps. I signaled the guards to get Scralette's and Karla's bags out and bring them up to their rooms. I unlocked the door and Scarlette and Karla followed behind me.
" If you need me for the day I will be in my office which is down the hall on the left. Your bags will be here any second," I left them to unpack and I went to my office because Ayden left some files on my desk and I have to see Lucas later today. I sat down behind my desk and opened up the files.
The files on the death of Ivan's father and Ivan with some top-secret information. Ivan wants these files and my father kept them safe and hidden away from him. I looked through the stacks of papers and pictures. I kept looking through the file so I could piece information together. There was a knock on the door.
" Come in," I said without looking up.
" Karla and I are leaving. I just thought you wanted to know," I looked up and Scarlette turned to leave.
" Mary and Jameson are going with you."
" Who are they?"
" Mary is like my second mother and she is the cook. Jameson is my most trusted bodyguard."
" Ok, well we are leaving."
" Be back before eight."
" You don't own me."
" Don't be like that, back before eight, I will come to find you myself and it won't be pretty," She left my office and rolled her eyes on the way out. Ayden walks in the right after Scarlette leaves.
" You know she is going to test you."
" I know, she is going to see what happens."
" Love your thinking, brother, I might need to get in contact with Karla again."
" I don't want to hear about your sex life, Ayden," He held his hand over his heart and pretended he was hurt.
