I had to send Malakai out with Ayden because I knew he can keep him busy and I made Ayden convince Malakai to take a day off so that he won't be tired tonight.
I decided to have Malakai's 30th birthday here at the house. Karla is putting up decorations around the house. Mary is getting food orders in and the dessert table together. I have to find an outfit for tonight.
" Scarlette! What do you think of this?" Karla yelled my name from across the house. I walked to where she was and she was on top of a ladder hanging the banner that says ' Happy 30th Birthday Malakai'
" Love it," I said.
It's not only his birthday today. It's Devina and Grace's birthday, but they aren't here to celebrate it with him. I grabbed the empty box that was next to the ladder and took it up to the attic. I used to hate that place when I was growing up and then I became a teenager and some things happened up there.
I walked up the stairs and opened the door to the attic. There was a fresh breeze soon as I opened the door. I walked up it hadn't changed since we were younger. I walked to the back and the little sitting area we placed was still in the exact spot, but dusty. I smiled as I remembered all the good things that happened up here. I walked back down and finished helping set up.
" The food should be here in the next hour or two," Mary said as she walked passed me. The place is done and all we have to do is wait for the food and get dressed the guest should arrive in four hours.
I up the security last night, so we don't have any visitors coming in unexpectedly. Malakai thinks I feel unsafe so he didn't question me. Tonight everyone is going to believe we are happily married, so now we have to act like it. I went up to my room and looked at the ring he placed on my finger at the altar.
I walked into my closet and started pulling out random outfits. I made Malakai wear his outfit for the party and he better not get it bloody. I made Ayden babysit him basically and Malakai has been blowing up my phone. He thinks I am planning something that he won't like. I'll make sure he enjoys it tonight.
Since the theme is all dark colors then I should find something that matches the colors of Malakai's suit. His suit is black with midnight blue accents. I walked to the back of my closet where my huge gowns were.
Why do I own some many clothes?
I picked out a long black dress with a slit on the left side with long black gloves. I placed them on my bed and ran the shower water. I left the bathroom so it could get steamy in the shower. Soon as I was finished I got into my dress and started on my hair. I did some loose curls and a side part.
