Peeta's POV
Is it time to ask her? I mean we have known each other for what feels like forever. Right?
Ugh! Why does this have to be so confusing. We have been hanging out for the past week now. Every day, all day.
That seems like it could be time to ask her. I just hope that if I do ask her just says yes.
But if she doesn't, then I hope that she will just let me down easy.
I think that it is time to ask.
I have been mentally preparing myself for this. we are watching an old movie called the Fault in our Stars. Also known as TFIOS back then.
It is okay. Katniss seems to like it, so I just sit here and loon at the projector and think. This is when I am mentally preparing for the moment that I will ask her.
I think that moment is now.
"Hey Katniss."
"Yeah Peeta."
"Can I ask you a question?" I hope that she doesn't hear the tremble in my voice.
"Yeah sure. You can always ask me anything." she sounds so curious.
Okay, here goes," Katniss we have spent the last 3 almost 4 years together and have been really spending a lot of time together. So I was hoping that you would be my girlfriend? It's perfectly fine if you don't I will just get up and lea-."
Before I could finish my sentence she grabs me and kisses me. I know that it wasn't our first kiss since I got back. It was our second. Still it is our first for being an official couple.
"Peeta, why wouldn't I want to be your girlfriend?"
"I didn't know if you thought of me in that way." I tell her this honestly.
"Of course I would want to be your girlfriend. I wouldn't want to be anyone else's girlfriend. Also I wouldn't LOVE then nearly as much as I LOVE you."
Wait did she just say that she loves me? OMG I think she did! Wait why am I saying his in my head?
"Did you really just say that you LOVE me?"
She seems surprised that I ask get this question.
"Yes Peeta I did just say that I LOVE you. I love you and only you Peeta. ALWAYS."
After she said that we kissed again!
