Continuing On

Ch.22

Katniss's Pov

I wake to feel Peeta's arms around me. I can hear the birds chirping from outside of the open window. Peeta always sleeps with the window open. That's one of the things that I love about him. He has all of these little perks that are just adorable.

I turn and look at him. He is just adorable. I love everything about him. He is just... I don't know, I guess that you could say... PERFECT!!!

I realize that I must have been staring at him and admiring him for a long time because I see those ocean blue orbs that I have fallen in love with.

"Good morning beautiful." Peeta says in his husky, sexy morning voice.

"Good morning my handsome fiancé." I smile and kiss him.

"Well that is a nice way to tell me good morning."

"I have to go dress shopping today so will you please make me breakfast?" I ask

"I will make you breakfast," He smirks,"if you kiss me."

"Can that wait until after I get ready? I have to get ready in like fifteen minutes." I whine

"Fine go get ready and you owe me a lot of kissing missy."

"Well I don't mind kissing you, so, that would be perfect." I get off the bed and walk to the closet to get my outfit. I grab a green top with blue jean pants. Then I walk into the bathroom to take a shower. The shower is the time that I have to my self. I like to think when I am in the shower. Like I said, it's where I have time alone. I start to think about mine and Peeta's life when we are married. Will anything change? I mean, besides my last name of course. We are already living to together, so what is going to be different?

I realize that I may have been in here a little to long. I step out and dry off. I put my clothes on. Then I braid my hair. I do the signature, 'Katniss Braid'.

I go down stairs and am immediately hit with the smell of pancakes. Peeta makes the best pancakes that I have ever tasted in my life. His even taste better than the capitols.

"Oh my god Peeta! These taste amazing!!!!"

"Thank you my love." He says like a gentleman.

"What do you want to do today? Effie called and said that she couldn't make it." I ask.

"How about we just sit around and do nothing all day long." Peeta suggests.

"That sounds like a plan to me."

So all day we sit around and do nothing. I love that. We just watched movies on the projector that the capital gave all I the districts. Since everybody has more money, we all have nicer things. It's really nice to know that people wot die of starvation. Or just be starving. I have had to love like that. For sixteen years. That's a long time. But none of that matters now. Life is good in the districts. Everyone is happy. All I know, is that I can not wait for my wedding!
