TW: Hospitals, mentions of car accidents

This is part 2 of If You Don't Find Sleep, Sleep Will Find You. Sorry it took so long to make, I've had mocks to do and stuff! I hope you enjoy this chapter.

(Just a heads up, I know next to nothing about hospitals and stuff so don't expect this to be very accurate. But yeah a lot of this chapter is in a hospital so if you don't like that then feel free to skip this chapter!)

Bobby's POV:

The moment Scott woke up from his stress-induced sleep, which was only like 2 hours long, he insisted that we went to visit Lauren in the hospital. I attempted to get him to wait till he was less stressed but it had the adverse effect and made it worse.

I knew that Scott had always been a very protective and caring person, I'm pretty sure it has something to do with his past but he never talks about it, his brothers don't like the subject either so none of us ever push it.

"You sure you're up for this? We can always wait for a bit." I suggested, Scott looked up at me and frowned slightly, "I'm sure! I want to see Lauren." he insisted, I sighed but agreed.

Since we'd already packed the things we needed we were able to go straight to the car, Scott helped me carry the stuff and put it in the boot before making his way to the passengers seat. I went and got into the drivers side.

I couldn't help but feel worried about my friend, of course I wanted to see Lauren, but Scott looked completely drained. I could tell he was overly stressed which was making him jumpy. I turned to him while driving.

"Try get some sleep Scott, we still have a good hours drive to the hospital." I urged, he looked over towards me and I felt a pang of sympathy in my chest. He was overly pale and there were dark circles under his eyes from a lack of sleep and stress. 

"Fine.." he murmured, I smiled slightly as he closed his eyes. 

After about 5 minutes I glanced back over to Scott, his body was relaxed against the door and his expression was a lot more peaceful. I was glad that he'd managed to fall asleep, God knows he needed it more than ever.

About 45 minutes into the drive, I heard Scott shift in his seat. I looked over and saw that he was awake, however he looked uncomfortable.

"Heya Scott, you feeling alright?" I asked, he hummed in response, "'m fine, stomach just hurts a bit." he said quietly (apparently stress can cause stomach pain/discomfort so). I sighed, "That's probably cause of how stressed you are, just try relax. We're nearly at the hospital now." I told him softly.

It didn't take much longer before we arrived at the hospital, I quickly parked and got out the car. I decided it was probably best to get Scott inside before unloading the stuff, he was practically dead on his feet.

I heard the passenger door shut and looked over to see Scott leaning heavily against the car, it was a wonder that he was still able to stand. I quickly made my way over to his side and guided him so that he was leaning against me for support.

"Let's get inside so you'll at least have something to sit down on." I said as we walked towards the entrance. I didn't get a reply which didn't come to much of a surprise.

Once we got inside we made our way over to the reception desk, there was a lady standing behind it. "Good evening, who are you both here to see?" she asked in a gentle and kind voice. 

"We're here to see Lauren (idk her last name T^T), I'm her husband Bobby and this is her friend, Scott." I told the woman, she typed something on the computer before looking back up at us.

"Of course, Lauren is currently in *insert random room name*." she informed us, I smiled, "Alright thank you." I said.

Me and Scott made our way towards the room we'd been given, I could feel Scott leaning against me for support a lot more than he was before. I rubbed his arm in hopes that it would supply at least a small amount of comfort. 

It didn't take long for us to get to the room where a doctor quickly let us inside, I looked over towards the bed and saw Lauren propped up. She quickly caught sight of us and waved.

"Hey guys!" she greeted, I felt Scott shift at my side, "Hi Lauren!" he said with as much enthusiasm that he could manage, which wasn't a lot, I saw Lauren frown slightly with concern. 

I helped Scott get to a chair that was positioned beside Lauren's bed, he all but collapsed into it. "You doing okay?" he asked, Lauren smiled at his concern, "Well I'm better than I've been since I got here so I'm gunna say yeah." she said with a jokey tone.

I strolled over to the other chair and sat down, "Safe to say, we've been worried about you." I stated, Lauren laughed at the comment, "I can see that." she quipped.

Lauren's POV:

The moment I saw Bobby and Scott walk into the room I smiled, staying in the same bed all the time was boring. However, I noticed that Scott looked like he could pass out at any moment.

After Bobby and Scott sat down, we fell into a comfortable conversation. Scott didn't speak much but he did contribute every now and then, it was clear that he was exhausted. While we were talking, I heard a quiet groan come from Scott.

When I looked over I noticed that he had a hand on his head, "You doing alright Scott?" I asked softly, he gave a weary smile, "Yeah I'm fine, my heads hurting that's all." he said. Bobby looked over at him.

"Try get some sleep, I think we all know that you're tired." he suggested, I nodded in agreement. Scott gave a small shrug before curling up slightly in his chair, his eyes closed. 

It didn't take long for him to fall asleep, I turned to Bobby, "I'm guessing he hasn't slept much." I guessed, I got a nod of confirmation, "He's been really stressed, I'm surprised that it's taken this long for him to crash." Bobby told me.

I gave a sad smile towards my sleeping friend and ran a hand through his tangled hair, he leaned into the touch. 

"Lets hope things go back to normal soon." I said sadly, Bobby put his hand on my shoulder, "I'm sure it will, don't worry." he assured me.

So that's the end of the chapter, I don't think I'll be making a part 3 but I might. Hope you all enjoyed this chapter, I'll see you in the next one!
