Amethyst's POV

Lord, if my hunch is correct, then I actually met a member of a chaebol family, I must confess he really does have a nice physique, and he is pretty hot too. I paid the fees for the hotel room because I was nice enough to, and I left for my house.

When I got home, I was so tired, all I wanted to do was go back to bed, but then I realized that I still had to work from home. Being a doctor felt like trash sometimes. Sucking up my complaints, I got my tired ass to work and started checking up and catching up with my patients.

Being a pediatrician was hard. I had kids coming in with colds, swollen joints, and tumours. I would have to give them vaccines sometimes. Other times I would literally have a whole therapy session with some kids 'you know what, I should have become a therapist instead, not really though.'

But by the end of the day, I was either emotionally, physically, or mentally exhausted, or all three. Because having to see those kids in so much pain hurts, but it's my job, and I have to do it so that they can get better.

Since I was done with my work, I had to invite Byeol and Min over. When I called them to ask if they wanted to come over, it was as if they already read my mind, and they were on their way to my house in no time.

When they got here, I opened the door, and the next thing I knew, I was bombarded with questions like, "why did you leave so early?" or "What happened to you last night?"

"Guys, guys, I'm ok; nothing happened to me last night," "so why did you leave without notifying us?" Min queried.

"So you see, I encountered some problems last night," I replied, this time Byeol butted in, "what fucking happened, girl?" "Yes sis, you need to tell us," he supported her.

So I told them about what happened last night, and you best believe they screamed, "so did you sleep with him or anything?" Byeol asked, "no, why would I sleep with him when he was unconscious?" I answered.

"Yeah, Byeol, that is literal sexual harassment," Min was really coming through for me today.

"I also think he is Lee Da In, the second son of Ohsung group," I voiced out "why do you think so?" she asked, "yeah, there are many "Da In's" in Seoul how could you be sure?" he questioned me.

"I don't know, it just seemed like a too big enough coincidence," I answered while looking at the TV. "Oh yeah, isn't Ohsung group a huge donator to the hospital we work at," Min said, "yes, and so?" I asked, still looking at the TV, watching this interesting drama called 'Mine'. "Nothing," he answered.

After that, it fell silent, and we continued with the drama. After they left, I took a shower and went to bed because tomorrow is Sunday and I get to be lazy, but I couldn't sleep for some reason. So I searched up "Lee Da In" on my phone, it wasn't easy to find a picture of him because there weren't many pictures of him, but after looking for a couple of minutes I found a picture of him with his whole family.

Monday morning

I walked in with my scrubs on with two interns in tow. Apparently, a pregnant woman was in an accident, and she was rushed into the trauma unit, so I and an OB-GYN were called to check if the baby and mother were doing alright.

I put on disposable gloves, a surgical mask, and a bouffant cap. When I walked into the room, the other doctors were trying to calm her down. The woman was fine, although she was having a panic attack, I evaluated her and reassured her that nothing was wrong with either her or her baby.

We consulted about four hours of tocodynamometric monitoring because the motor accident wasn't serious we didn't have to perform any further tests.

She and the baby were lucky not to have any serious injuries. We kept her in there for a few more hours to ensure there weren't any more complications, we also contacted her husband to let him know that both his wife and child were ok.

I removed the gloves, mask, and cap. Then I left the trauma unit, I walked back to my office, where I relaxed a little. One of the two interns who followed me to the trauma unit brought me the list of patients I would need to see for the rest of the day.

I was about done texting my mum when my last patient for the day came in, and you wouldn't believe who it was...

Da In's POV

Se Wan was very nice but as she said she was interested in someone else, I could always be friends with her, she seems really cool I also advised her to tell her parents.

I also found out that I would be babysitting for my brother today because he and his wife had to attend an event. That wasn't all I had to do, I had to take Yeol Mu (nephew) to get his vaccine for polio, "seems like today will be fun," I thought while holding the baby in my arms. Since I was going to be busy, I gave the staff two days off.

I waved my brother and his wife goodbye, I then turned to our cute Yeol Mu and picked him up.

"What do you want to do with uncle today, huh?" I asked in a baby voice. He cooed at me and my heart melted, "why don't we start with your appointment for your vaccine, huh?" I suggested.

I guess his parents really were prepared because they even dropped off his car seat along with his baby bag. So I fixed his car seat in my car and put him in it, when I had made sure I had everything, and he was safe in his seat, I drove off.

When we got to the hospital, I carried him out of the car and walked inside. Inside the hospital looked fantastic, I see why my parents donated so much money to help it. We went to the reception and the nurse there confirmed our appointment and told us to sit at the waiting unit.

I sat down in the waiting area and played with Yeol-mu until I heard, "Mr. Lee Da In?" "Oh, yes that's me," I answered, "you can go into Dr. Amethyst's office now," the nurse said.

I thanked him and was on my way to the doctors' office, when I realized I had heard that name somewhere before, 'could it be?' I thought in my head.

I knocked on the door and was told to come in, and when I walked in there, I was shocked, to say the least, I think she was shocked too. "Well, come in sir," she urged on, "so how are you today, Yeol-mu?" she cooed at him. I watched as she played with the baby, "I see you are here to take your inactivated poliovirus vaccine (IPV)," she said while looking at the computer.

The shot went surprisingly smooth, apart from the time I first saw the needle. My whole soul left my body and went on a trip to Jamaica and back, and I think she could sense I was uncomfortable because she said, "it's ok, just close your eyes and take a deep breath." It worked, I actually calmed down.

When we were getting ready to leave, Yeol-mu started crying, and I honestly didn't know what to do.

But Amethyst started making funny noises, and he started giggling, ok, so my nephew doesn't want to leave with me but wants to stay with her.

She laughed, "do you want me to come with you? After all, I'm getting off work now," she suggested.
