Amethyst's POV
When I said that place was exquisite, I meant it; it was dimly lit with a chandelier, a beautiful view of Seoul, and the candles made it look more aesthetic than you'd think. It looked like something straight out of a magazine. I was in rich people's heaven, and I was loving every moment of it.
I snapped out of my daze and quickly approached them and greeted them. They were a little surprised that I was fluent in Korean. "Wow, you look beautiful," his mother said, "thank you, Mrs. Lee, you look absolutely gorgeous," I replied.
She blushed a little, "oh dear, please call me Se Kyung," she replied.
"Please sit," he finally spoke, although he was still staring, I didn't mind people stared a lot when I first came to Korea and they still do so I got used to it.
"What's your name?" He continued, "my name is Amethyst David," I answered. "Where do you work?" he asked again, "I work at Prime medical centre," I replied.
They looked very much taken aback this time." You mean you work at Prime medical centre, like the one we own?" Se Kyung asked. I nodded my head, yes.
One of the waitresses opened the door, and we all turned our heads to see Da In standing at the door. He bowed in greeting to his parents then sat down next to me.
He looked splendid, with his blonde hair tied in a low ponytail and the black tuxedo with the white well-ironed button-up shirt, a black tie, expensive-looking men's dress shoes, and a thick black belt around his waist. And he smelt just as expensive as he looked. This man was more than just hot, lord.
" Are you sure you want to date my son?" his mum asked. Her question surprised me, but I got myself back on track, "well, I didn't really think of dating him we ju-," before I could finish my statement, Da In interrupted me.
"We actually met online two years back," he lied. "Is that so?" his dad asked. "Yes, it is," I can't believe I just lied to them like that.
"We just recently met in real life after keeping in touch online for two years," Da In continued his lie.
They asked some more about my family and me. Then they started ordering exquisite-looking dishes along with whine. While I wanted to order a dish, I could afford, Da In made it his life mission that I ordered something expensive because his parents were paying.
"So what do your parents do?" his dad asked, in between his gentle smacking on the food, "my dad is a neurosurgeon while my mother is a mechanical engineer," I answered calmly after chewing on mine.
"Oh, I see that working in the medical field runs in the family," his mum stated, "yes, it does," I smiled.
Two hours later
Both Da In and his dad were drunk by now, but his mum and I were sober. His mum then announced her and her husband's departure and called security to help carry her husband.
"Thank you for coming, dear, you seem like a nice girl, and your sense of fashion is amazing. It was a pleasure to meet you," she complimented. "And also, I'm sorry about my husband and son's behaviour tonight," she apologized.
I nodded politely, accepting her apology. "The pleasure is all mine. Thank you for inviting me. Drive home safe," I bid her farewell, "you too," she said, waving.
She turned back and asked, "do you want me to call security to help you carry him to his car and get a chauffeur for him?" "No, I can take care of it," I replied politely. No, I couldn't; why did I say that?
After his parents left, I looked back at Da In; he looked so peaceful, half asleep, well too bad we have to go home. So I woke him up (or at least attempted to), putting his hand over my shoulder I dragged him out of the room. Thank God his parents paid for the food. I tried keeping him awake so we could walk properly to the elevator, but to no avail.
