The boy stood next to her leaned closer with a smirk on his face as (Y/N) 'a body began to shake. Her classmates were usually bullies, but this boy was the worst she had to face. "So the bitch has come out of her hiding spot?" He mocked as his friends laughed behind him. Even though it was a question she knew not to answer, otherwise, it would just make it worse. She desperately tried to move back to get Megumi for help. But as she stepped back, she bumped into someone else. Where did he go? Did he leave her? Did he set her up? No, he was the only one that had been nice to her.

"Why are you moving away from me!?" He snapped at her as he grabbed onto my wrist. It wasn't anything like Megumi's touch. This boy was tough and had intentions of hurting me, while Megumi was gentle and soft. Letting out a whine at the pain, knowing there would be a bruise here later.

"It hurts, please let me go", she pleaded as he applied more pressure to her wrist. "Well, it hurts to be in the same class as you", he snickered as the boys laughed again. "I didn't know she could talk", another boy commented behind him. "There's nothing special about her. She's a freak," the leader of the pack spoke as I closed my eyes, hoping that this was just a nightmare. But it only made it worse.

Suddenly, she feels a cold liquid poured over her body. Opening her eyes slowly to see the bully right in front of her face, she moved back, but he just grabbed her hair. "Keep your eyes open when I'm talking bitch!" He said through gritted teeth. She kept telling herself that she was gonna be fine, but how could she believe it when her body was soaking wet, and someone was holding her by her hair.

"What's happening here?" Megumi pushed past the boys that were standing in front of her. Just the sight of him was calming her body down. She was saved, she cried in her head. "We were just showing her who's in charge!" They spoke so highly of themselves. "Let her go" Megumi glared at the man, but he still didn't let go of her until he applied pressure onto his wrists, causing him to release her. Once she was free, she ran out of the cafeteria and outside.

This was why she never went there.

Sitting outside on one of the benches, in a hidden place behind the school where no one would bother her. She let the sun drown her in sunlight, hoping that her clothes would be dried up by the time she went home. (Y/N) hated making her parents worry about her; she didn't want to be a burden to them even though she felt like one for the way she is. But they smile and tell her they love her.

So she has to smile through the pain and tell them false stories of her friends from school. But at least one will be true, Megumi.

Just at the thought of him, the boy rounded the corner to spot the girl he had been on a hunt for. "Hey stranger", she jokes, hoping to lighten the mood a bit. He takes a seat beside her before she speaks again. "My name is (Y/N)", she mumbled while squeezing the edges of her skirt, draining the water.

"Here, I got you that water you wanted, (Y/N)" Megumi said her name for the first time in three days, and that was her fault. It felt weird hearing him say it, but she liked it at the same time. He handed her the bottle, and she took it with a smile.

"Sorry for not telling you my name; I thought it would only cause you trouble" she paused as she took a small sip of water, allowing the cold liquid to run down her throat. "Let's just say I'm not that popular", she joked about her misery as a chuckle escaped her, hoping he wouldn't see past it and felt the pain she had from the horrible words they would call her.

"They were bullying you; why?" He questioned as her eyes widened. Megumi was a very blunt boy and went straight to the point. Scratching the back of her head, feeling nervous to tell him. She didn't want anything to change, she liked how Megumi acted around her, and if she told him the truth, then he would be different. They always are.

"I don't wanna talk about it", she nervously said as she fidgeted with her fingers. Luckily for her, he accepted her answer as he nodded his head.

"How about we ditch school then?
