DENVER
After our little session, we all took a shower separately. Me and Roya were sitting on the couch when Jordan came out of the washroom wearing a fresh pair of shorts and muscle tank top. I don't know if he did it purposely or if his clothes are placed this way but we were all wearing the same thing again, just different colours.
He came and sat in between us, earning a groan from Roya and me.
"Ughh you idiot," Roya moves towards the left, getting away from him.
"Someone's fiesty," Jordan mutters.
"She's just hungry," I tell him as he nods laughing along me but we both shut up when Roya glares at us.
"Room service?" Jordan suggests, trying to please her.
"I want pizza," Roya fucking pouts.
How can you say no to that face?
"Pizza it is," Jordan says, standing up to get his phone.
"And then brownies with ice cream once we finish," Roya yells at him and I laugh.
She turns to me with a smile. I think food makes her the most happiest or maybe it's making other people laugh. She moves towards me and cuddles, placing her head on my chest.
I kiss her head, moving the almost dry hair out of her face.
"Can we watch all the bright places?" she asks, innocently.
"Sure, I haven't seen it," I shrug.
We put on the movie once Jordan returns and watch it. Halfway through it the pizza came and we continued the movie as we ate. I heard sniffles from my left once the credits rolled, making me turn.
"Are you.. crying?" I ask Roya, a little amused smile on my face.
"Yeah," she says in a duh tone.
"Really, for a movie?" my smile widens.
"Well you haven't seen Jordan yet," she scoffs and moves back and I see a Jordan with red eyes, tears running down his cheeks.
"Williams?" I ask, surprised.
"What?" he snaps, "nobody told me this movie was sad," he says and I chuckle, Roya laughing at his statement too.
"Well, shit. I never would've guessed," I say. I can't fucking believe my eyes.
"I'm really gonna need that brownie," Jordan groans, getting up. Probably to call room service.
I was about to say something to Roya when Jordan comes back, frowning at his phone.
"Um, Anderson?" he asks, still looking at his phone.
"Yeah?" she looks up at him, leaning over me.
"Ian texted, he says he wants to talk to you tomorrow so you better be home," Jordan reads the text as Roya goes tense in my arms.
"Oh," she says, looking ahead at nothing, "he knows," she whispers.
"I figured," Jordan sighs, sitting next to us again.
"I'll talk to him tomorrow once I go home after work," she nods.
"Do you want any of us there with you?" I peck her forehead.
"No but maybe come over later? Bring Dave too, I'll cook," she gives me a smile.
Fuck, I love this woman.
"I'll just go to the washroom, order the brownies please," she says getting up and Jordan nods at her.
As soon as she closes the door Jordan turns to me. I realize at this moment that we really don't talk much. The only main conversation we ever had was when I met him at Roya's apartment.
