ROYA

When I saw Ian heading towards the car around an hour later, I locked the doors.

As soon as he tried opening it he groaned.

"Roya open the door." He said calmly.

I shook my head laughing.

"Roya. Open. The. Door." He said each word heavily.

I laugh at how easy it was to get on his nerves.

"Ian, go get a starbucks for Anna, you know she'll love it." I say through the little space in the open window.

"Ughhh females." he says and starts heading towards starbucks but his grin did not go unnoticed by me.

Few minutes later, when he returns with her favorite drink in hand I open the lock for him and he sits in the passenger side placing the drink in the cup holder.

"Was that really necessary?" he asks.

"Yup." I say while backing out of the parking lot.

"How was the thing with the professor?" I ask him.

"it was fine, the work is all okay and easy for me and he's cool, I'm just exhausted." He sighs.

"After the amount of drinks you and Anna had last night, I would be dead right now." I chuckle.

"We really did have a lot." He laughs.

"Mhm, a lot." I say while focusing on the road.

"Sorry Anderson." He then says in all seriousness making me frown.

"For what? What did you do?" I ask trying to think what happened.

"No, I didn't do anything." He laughs.

"You had to carry our asses back and couldn't drink at the party so-" he says in a low tone but I cut him off.

"Are you fucking kidding me? Out of all the pranks and shit you've pulled, you're gonna apologize about sober me carrying your drunk asses back home?!" I state and he laughs.

"Saunders, you know I don't like drinking with too many people around and you guys should have fun so stop apologizing you idiot." I smile and he returns it.

The rest of the car ride is silent and my mind wanders to the grey-eyed, black hair, deep-voiced, screaming player personality from earlier. The way his eyes darkened when I was talking sent a shiver down my spine. He asked me one question and I rambled on like a fucking dumb person. The way he spoke in his raspy and deep voice, probably the after effects of hangover made me feel things. Denver. I wonder if Ian knows him. Definitely not going to ask him anytime soon knowing his over-protective brother personality will bring no good.

We reach home and as soon as we open the door, we see Anna eating breakfast sitting on the barstool next to the kitchen counter.

"Good morning sleepy head." Ian says to her while kissing her head.

"Ughh I feel dead." She states and we laugh.

"Thought you'll need this." Ian places the Iced caramel machiato next to her plate and her eyes light up.

"Oh my god you didn't!" She looks up to him with a huge smile.

"I did." He says with a grin.

"I love youuu." She says while pecking him.

I clear my throat and they both look at me.

"Umm firstly, my idea." I point towards the coffee while smirking. "And secondly, movie day today?" I ask.

"I love you too Royaaa and lemme finish my breakfast while you guys decide on a movie." She says and starts digging the eggs.

"I really feel like watching Endgame right now." Ian says while plopping down on one end of the couch.

"That movie makes my cry Ian." I frown and sit on the other end of the couch.

"Good to know you have emotions Anderson." Ian replies while scrolling through netflix.

"Shut up." I hit his side with my feet and then cross my legs.

"That movie is bomb but start with a happy movie, pretty please." Anna requests while showing Ian her doe eyes from the table.

"Fine." Ian huffs.

Anna winks at me and I chuckle seeing how much effect she has on him.

"Let's start with Monte Carlo?" I suggest.

Ian groans and Anna laughs.

"V for vendetta?" I ask

"Yesss." Ian and Anna say at the same time.

"I'm deciding the next movie." Ian says while Anna sit in between us on the couch with a bowl of popcorn.

A few hours. No. Actually, a lot of hours and a lot of bowls of popcorn later we stop. Not because we wanted to but because the only snack we had at home finished. Yup. No more popcorns. And we were hungry.

"Ian I'm hungryyyy." Anna says while laying her head on his shoulder.

"Me too babe" Ian replies kissing her forehead.

"Me three peoples." I join them.

"What time is it?" Ian asks.

"Its ten, why?" Anna replies.

"Krispy Kreme?" Ian grins looking down at her.

"YESSS!" Anna jumps up from the couch. I smile looking at this adorable couple. They really are the best people I know.

"I'm driving your car!" I say rushing towards the keys.

"Shotgun!" Anna says rushing towards the door.

"We all know I'm gonna be driving on our way back." Ian smirks knowing that's true cause Anna and I would be focusing on the donuts.

"Yeah yeah." We both say in sync heading out.

We blasted music on our way to the only Krispy Kreme in the whole of British Columbia. Yup. They only have one store in this state and its in Delta.

Once we reached there, it was 10:30 and it closes at 11pm so we decided to get everything and eat in the car. We headed inside and there were at least six customers before us, I groaned.

"If we don't make it in time, they'd be out of the sour dough donuts." I whine like a little kid to Anna.

"You can have the original one then, they're never out of it." She replies.

I scoff and Anna rolls her eyes while Ian just chuckles and I glare at him. That made him stop.

They serve two people at a time so when it was our turn I immediately told the server to pack the sour dough donut seeing there's only one left. Both the servers reached for the donut at the same time.

I look up to my left to see who the other customer was and lock eyes with the same grey orbs that I met in the morning, looking at me in amusement.
