Chapter 1- Arriving home

Jessica's POV:
I ran around my house, rushing as I did. I only had an hour until I had to leave to pick Reece up from the airport, today's the day that he's coming back home to Accrington. I've missed him a lot, I was able to go to some of the shows but not a lot as I have been doing my exams. He understands though. Reece and I have been best friends for literally forever, he didn't tell me that he was auditioning for X Factor, he wanted me to be surprised and he got me! I remember crying when he told me because I was so proud of him for getting through. I needed to leave in 50 minutes and I hadn't even gotten dressed yet, I was too busy tidying my flat to even notice the time. Reece and I had organized for the boys to come back to my flat for a movie night, I have met the boys before at the shows but I haven't properly spoken to them so it should be good. I ran upstairs after finishing the cleaning downstairs and jumped into the shower. It wasn't a long shower like my usual but a quick one as I had to leave ASAP. I got out of the shower and made my way to my bedroom with my towel wrapped around me. I was walking into my room when I realsied something silver under my bed, I leant down to look at it. Tears filled up my eyes, i remember when Reece gave this to me. The day that he left for the X factor house. God do I miss him like hell. It was a silver necklace with R&J carved in the middle of it. I thought if lost it, I layed it on my bedside table and got ready. I changed into a black skater skirt and a stripy crop top and I put on my white converse with my collared socks. I blow dried my long golden brown hair and straightened it. I added some light make up, casual foundation, a layer of eyeliner and mascara and some soft pink lipgloss. I checked the time, I had 1 hour until the boys arrived at the airport and it takes 45 minutes to get there. I ran downstairs grabbing my phone and bag and chucking a few essentials in it as I got downstairs, I grabbed my black leather jacket and headed to my car locking the door behind me. (let's just imagine that you can have a car when your 16 okay😂) My phone buzzed,

I smiled at his text, he always puts "luv u" at the end of out texts, he's almost like a brother to me after all.

I put my phone down and put my eyes back on the road. I couldn't sop smiling knowing that I'm going to see my bestfriend again, I haven't seen him in almost 1 month and a half and that's a big change from being together every day like we used to be. He has changed so so much. He looks so much older and much more grown up, he's let his hair grow in, I love it when he does. He looks so cute with his hair down, I always mess it up when it is. I arrived at the airport, Reece's plane should be landing any minute now. I made my way into the airport and stood at the gate, a lot of fans were standing right at the front waiting to meet them, I really hope reece doesn't stop for long I really need one of his hugs. I was looking down at my phone when all of a sudden I heard girls screaming and shouting "STEREO KICKS, STEREO KICKS" I immediately looked up from my phone, I smiled and almost began to cry when I saw Reece walk towards the gate. The moment he came round the corner I spotted him and he spotted me too. The boys stopped to get photos with the fans so I just waited at the back for them, I could see the other 7 boys but where was Reece? I began to panic, I took out my phone and sent him a text
To: Reecey😚x
Where are you? I can only see 7/8 with the fans? I'm worried, luv u x
I sent the text, seconds later I heard Reece's text tone go off I turned around to see a smiling Reece.

"OMG REECE!" I screamed at ran towards him, he engulfed me into a warm hug.

"Hello love" He smiled down at me.

"I've missed you so much Reece honestly, I was so worried when I couldn't see you, where did you go?" I asked him still hugging him.

"I told the boys that I would take the shortcut around the fans so that I could surprise you, the boys know where I am so don't worry, I've missed you too by the way" he smiled showing his unreal cute dimples.

"I've missed that smile" I smiled messing up his hair which he kept down.

"I kept my hair down for you because I know you like it like that" Reece laughed.

"Your such a doofus, come on let's get back to the flat we need to prepare dinner for when the boys come round tonight" I told him as we pulled away from the hug and walked towards the back collecter. I'm so glad to have my best friend back.
