Alex
I sat on the edge of the bed contemplating. I had nothing to loose if I would be going to her house today and explain her every single thing that happened between us. I do not regret it though, maybe only the fights we had. I took out a pair of blue denim jeans and a greenish sweater. It was cold today even though the rays of the Sun where shining brightly over the city. I pull the courtains open and let the warmth of the sun rays swim in my room. The butterflies in my stomach had stopped flying around and they let me chil a bit. I pulled my combat boots on and closed my diary, then hid it under the bed where it belonged. I entered the kitchen and found Matt and Nick sitting by the counters with cups in their hands.
"Al! I can't believe you woke up" Matt laughed. "Morning sunshine" he handed me a cup of fresh-made coffee. "How was your sleep, beautiful?"
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I snapped and laughed right after.
"Nothing, we are just excited for London that's all" he smiled at me.
I sipped on my coffee and sat down at the round kitchen table. I grabbed a butter croissant and chewed on it with small bites, enjoying every single bit of it. It was really tasty I must say. My phone vibrated in my pocket and I took it out. "Kyle" it said, flashing on my screen. I tapped the ansewer button. "Hi Kyle" I greeted.
"Alex, Arabella said you will stop by our house today?"
"Umh, yes" I frown at myself. "Is there any problem pal?"
"Actually yes. She needs rest and peace. She doesn't need someone to disturb her."
"Kyle, she was looking forward to it. I promise I will behave and treat her like she deserves. I promise you Kyle" I almost cried. "Please Kyle?"
"Fine, but don't be long" he hung up.
I rushed over to the racks and took a black leather jacket.
"Where to, Al?" Nick asked me.
"Arabella's" I shortly answered. "I promised her"
"Take care, Al, and no matter what happens ... well come back " he laughed.
I waved at them and I stepped outside. The sky was grey with white stunts all over it. It expressed a deep and sad melancholia just like me. You couldn't see any bird flying around even though it was already March; everything was absolutely dead. I hopped in my car and drove slowly to Arabella's. It seemed like I was driving forever, not just a ten minutes drive. I pulled over the flats and stepped outside the car; it started raining so I rushed in.
I took the evelator and pressed the 5 button. The elevator took me up the flats and I was now infront of Arabella's door. I took a deep breath and knocked, expecting her to open the door. But instead I found a crying Zara who snapped and collapses on my shoulder, stil crying.
"What happened?" I panicked "What happened Zara?! is she okay?!" .
"Yeah, she's fine. But she doesn't remember much. She doesn't remember me Al!" she bursted.
I walked inside with Zara in my arms and sat her down on a chair. I gave her a glass of cold fresh water and she drank it all at once. The tears ran down her face like waterfalls and she kept hiccuping while she cleaned her tears away.
"This can't be possible, Al. We share a lot of memories and she can't seem to remember not even a small part of them. I miss her Al, I miss the old Arabella." She cried again.
"I do too" I muttered. "But we have nothing to do now, do we?" I looked at the cold tiled ground and rubbed my knees with my frozen fingers. "Where is she?"
