Ashaangi TS Intertwined - Backstory

Disclaimer: This story is a work of fiction written on real characters, Ashwin and Sivaangi. The story is based on my imagination. None of the sequence is real and it has nothing to do with any of real-life characters mentioned in the story. This work is purely fictional and not meant to hurting anyone's feelings. Ashaangi TS: Intertwined - Backstory

A month after the dream wood incident, Sivaangi, who usually keeps herself away from the negative comments broke down after coming through series of tweets for a week straight. The negative comments weren't just targeted towards her but also at one of her favorite humans, Ashwin.

Those tweets include people saying that Sivaangi would swallow Ashwin's seven years struggles and he would end up as a failure. They would boycott Ashwin's film. There were more like being associated with Sivaangi would lead to the downfall of Ashwin's career in cinema; Ashwin has manipulated Sivaangi and taking advantage of the girl's fame; Sivaangi was tagged as the one going behind Ashwin to stay in trend; Ashaangi was just a content that Ashwin and Sivaangi used and soon he would let her down and she would go behind someone, etc.

As much as Sivaangi's dm were filled with positive messages, the negative ones she received grew, making her more and more conscious and worried. People were making blind assumptions of her and Ashwin's life and their relationship which made her feel more constricted. Shouldn't they be in control of what and how they should feel and express themselves?

The above negative tweets were not even 0.1% of what Sivaangi read. The girl who has overcome every negativity with a bold face broke down as it concerned the career of the guy who she celebrates and adores way too much; the guy she respects and look up to; the guy she wants to see succeed in life; above all the guy she wants to stay happy.

Sivaangi has always been the constant one who had always told Ashwin that he'll make it in cinema field and reach great heights. She knew that Ashwin sees her as a positive figure in his life. More reasons why she shouldn't be an obstacle between him and success at any given point of his life. She simply couldn't bear that.

Sivaangi couldn't mouth it to anyone. She knows social media can be toxic and ignorance is bliss but Sivaangi was scared for Ashwin. His first movie shoot was postponed given the pandemic and he was already bummed that his movie would release on OTT if the pandemic lasts.

Ashwin is at the beginning of his career and Sivaangi decided that she wouldn't let this hate affect his career. So, Sivaangi had to take a tough decision on her own – to move away from her Ashwineyy. She only confided it to Vinayak a month later of carrying out her decision as he found her crying one night.

The first thing Sivaangi decided is to reduce her texting time to Ashwin. As days went on, Ashwin noticed the change in the way Sivaangi responds to him. She was the one who would call him almost every single day. But her calls never came and her texts were empty save for the normal hello hi.

When Ashwin called her few times, Sivaangi made up excuses and hanged within few minutes. As days goes, she stopped attending his calls. Ashwin tried to meet her few times despite his fully packed shoot schedules but it was as if Sivaangi has decided not to meet Ashwin at all that he couldn't meet her.

Sivaangi knows that people also could see the change in her response. Her brother Pugazh confront her for which she took him in confidence asking him to keep things between they two and stated plainly that she's busy and that she wants the negativity to die down. Pugazh bought it thinking of the dream wood controversary.

As days went on, Sivaangi stopped texting Ashwin and stopped opening his inbox. "It was for his good" Sivaangi told herself whenever she felt weak. It was tough for her but she had to. She wasn't sure if she could face him after all these.

Sivaangi stopped liking Ashwin's posts and stopped putting story for him. She has excluded him from her whatsapp status. If things looked fine in the future, she would definitely meet him and apologize for doing this to him.

By then Ashwin has got the idea that his Rowdy is avoiding him. He couldn't discuss it with anyone else but her. Sivaangi is one of the most important people in his life. People love them as a couple together but both of them share a special bond which isn't love but something special; something magical.

Ashwin's efforts to confront Sivaangi went in vain making him frustrated. He never knew he would grow angry on the little woman who has managed to grab his attention and admiration but she, who cared him like a mother, has moved away from him.

Ashwin is an emotional fool who couldn't stand his close ones getting distanced from him. This girl literally broke all his walls, crawled into his life and then moved away leaving him in pain and frustration.

But even in that angered and pained state, Ashwin knew that his Rowdy won't abandon him. So, he decided to give her some time after unsuccessful attempts to contact her and decided to concentrate on his movie while keeping himself updated with her news.

Hey guys, I didn't want to write based on real life of Ashwin and Sivaangi, given the recent happenings but I had this in my mind for sometime now that I have penned this down. This is a TS, Two shot or Three shot - that depends on my writing process. This is the backstory which is important for the story. Do vote and leave behind a feedback.
