Part III - A

"Ma, mapilai ah ethuku seramam paduthura, vendam" Krishnakumar said fixing his eyes on his daughter.

"Pa, athellam avaru panuvaru Pa"

"Eii Sivaangi, Ashwin indha veetu mapilai di. Avara epdi lam seiya solrathu seru ila. Athellam onum vendam" Binni said dismissing Sivaangi's idea.

"Maa, morning dhana ivara velai vanguna. Aprm ena, athellam ivaru samaiparu" Sivaangi said patting Ashwin's arm again and looked at him, "Unaku samaika okay dhana, Ashwineyy?"

Ashwin stared at Sivaangi and then shifted his eyes to the rest of family before looking at her and nodded wordlessly.

"Aprm ena? It's decided. Ashwin dhan lunch panuvaru" Sivaangi announced and Ashwin could do nothing but watch her as she grinned at him smugly.

On watching Krishnakumar and Binni's unsure faces, Ashwin mentally sighed and had a glass of water before fixing his eyes on his in-laws.

"Athai, Mama, na lunch prepare panren. Naanum onga veetu paiyan dhana. Na ongaluku lunch prepare pana kudatha ena?"

"Apdi ila Ashwin. Ongaluku ipo dhan off day. Neenga relax ah time spend panlamey nu dhan" Krishnakumar said.

"This is spending time for my family, Mama. Enaku endha seramam um ila. Na cook panren eh?" Ashwin asked.

"Seri, onga istam. Binni, Ashwin ku thevai aanathu lam iruka nu check pani pathuko enanu" Krishnakumar said and Binni nodded at her husband before looking towards her son-in-law.

"Ongaluku kastam ila dhana, Ashwin?" Binni asked again.

"Apdi ethuvum ila, Athai. Also, don't hesitate to tell me if you need to add anything else in menu" Ashwin said smiling at his in-laws assuring them and turned towards Vinayak, "Dei unaku ethuvum lunch ku special ah venum ah?"

"Neenga samaikurathey special dhan, Maamz. I'm waiting" Vinayak said and Ashwin replied with a smile, resuming eating.

"Enta kekalayeh" Sivaangi said staring down at her plate making everyone turn towards her.

"Eii en di" Binni said mentally facepalming herself while Krishnakumar smiled at his daughter.

"Unaku pidicha Idli Manchurian already list la add paniten ma" Ashwin said smiling at Sivaangi who gave him a subtle amused look before making it with a forced smile and averted her gaze. She's not going to let her angry mask slide so soon but inside she was jumping excitedly.

Sivaangi was asking Ashwin to prepare her recent favorite Idli Manchurian for a week and half now. But as they both had their professional commitments and that Ashwin was disturbed, he couldn't prepare it and she couldn't have it. There are certain foods Sivaangi would eat only if Ashwin prepares and this is one of it just like Palak paneer.

'Thank you Ashwineyy' Sivaangi thought grinning to herself while maintaining a straight face.

"Idli Manchurian ah?" Vinayak asked making faces at Sivaangi who shrugged at her brother.

"Taste vera level la irukum da. Ivaru super ah panuvaru. Nee inaiku try pani paru" Sivaangi said making a super sign before resuming to eat.

Ashwin stared at Sivaangi with a smile in his lips while his eyes adored the way she went on to explain how delicious it tastes when he prepares it. He was observing her closely from the time she entered inside the kitchen and as far as he knows her, he can say she's not angry with him but may be hurt and disappointed and that made him more guilty.
