Chapter 31

"Are you sure you'll drive?"

Nag aalala kong tanong rito.He chuckled for a bit and held my hand.

" I'm actually driving baby .."

" Nag aalala kasi ako Geon! ano ba naman kasing pinag gagawa mo? " 

"I attended seven meetings today. The other one is far from the company. Three hours of travel time."

Hindi ko naman maiwasang malungkot. He's handling the whole Henderson Corporation at hindi biro yon. Akala siguro ng nakararami na uupo lang siya para mag utos at tumunganga. Geon really exerting effort to manage the whole henderson. I'm really proud of him.

" Stop giving me that look daphne! Nawawala ang pagod ko pag ikaw ang kasama ko. " 

"Turn right. I will stay with you tonight."

" You really worried huh? " -Geon 

"I want to stay with you tonight." I said it again.

Iniliko niya ang sasakyan patungo sa cobb suites kung nasan ang kanyang flat. Nang makarating kami ay pinauna ko na siyang maligo at mag palit dahil kitang kita ko ang pagod sa kanyang mga mata. 

Hindi ko na ito inantay matapos, dumiretsyo na lang ako sa guest room para doon mag shower.  Napabuntong hininga na lang ako ng mas nauna pa akong matapos sa kanya. Kaya inayos ko na agad ang higaan niya at dumiretsyo sa kitchen para ipag timpla siya ng green tea. 

" Baby? " 

" Kitchen .." 

Lumabas si geon sa kwarto suot ang isang plain white shirt. 

"I thought you left already."

" Why would I? I'm preparing you a cup of green tea so you can sleep well."

Nahuli ko ang pag kibot ng kanyang bibig. Lumakad ito papalapit saakin at hinila ako para bigyan ng mahigpit na yakap. 

" Ang sweet naman. " 

I hugged him tight and kissed his lips.

"However, that's even better... "

We both chuckled at his reply. We enjoy our time sitting together while talking about our day. Geon open up about his problem regarding their pioneer employee.  

"Do you already speak with them? What's their reason for not renewing their contract?"

"Because they're working with Henderson for the almost rest of their lives."

" Ilan sila? "
