AFTER ONE YEAR 

" Mommy akiiiii!"

Liv hugged me tightly and give me a quick kiss. I can't even control myself, but embrace her more tightly.

"Stop bothering her, Liv"

I look at Realan wearing his favorite beige shirt. He casually seated beside me watching her daughter being clingy with me.

" Shhhh, daddy.. I missed my mommy aki.."

We both laugh on her statement. We both know that she just playing around.

" Are you done reading?"

" Yes.."

" Do you want me to buy you more? " 

" No,  it's fine "

He's been taking care of me for almost a year. I don't want him to be worried plus I don't want to be a burden.

" I will check my things mommy!"
She receives a thumbs up from his father.

" Enjoy your time together! "

Living with them for the whole years is life changing. Whenever I'm with them, I feel secure and protected.

" Do you have any plans this week?"

" I actually file a vacation leave for one month."

My eyeballs almost pop out. One month?

" Why?"

" Let's have a quick vacation in hawaii"

Kumurba naman ang ngiti saaking labi. It's been a year since I travel. I stay here in New Zealand for a good. After the tragedy my mom and brother want me to go to america  but I refused. Mas pinili kong tumira sa isang tahimik at mapayapang lugar.

I build a good relationship with the people living here. Well, I admitted that my first three months are difficult not until I met Realan. A good businessman, he owned this million hectares where I am living right now.

I know how to observe people intention and his intentions was pure and true.

He taught me a lot of things. I will never forget the effort he exerting just for me to feel comfortable and of course with our happy pill, Liv.

"But.. If you're still uncomfortable to travel it's fine. Let's just go out to the park and have picnic together."

" I'm all in..".

Kitang kita ko ang gulat sa kanyang mata tila hindi makapaniwala sa desisyon ko.

"It's been a while since I go for a staycation.. I'm fine going out.. Actually, I'm excited to go out."

I stand up and cross my arms.

" Why? Your not believing?"

Tumayo ito at halos tingalain ko siya sa sobrang tangkad niya.

" I will prepare our private plane.. "

" Then I will pack my things now. "

I chuckle and got shocked when he grabbed my wrist.
