Luna: The Moon Goddess
Previously: It wasn't then until I remembered my motorcycle. "And I also know that people are after her, which is why she's staying here," Martha explained. "What she tries to kill us in our sleep or something?!" he continued. "Just for the record, I didn't kill those guys back there," I tell him as I open the door to the 'oh so bright' room that is now mine. "Just to be safe, I'm locking my door," he stated, mocking my tone before shutting his door. I then heard a click come from behind it. Shaking my head, I walked into the bright room and shut the door behind me. Well, living with him is going to be...interesting...
Chapter 6
I didn't notice I had falling asleep until I heard a knock on the. "Don't shoot, it's me," Travis said as he cautiously opened the door. I groaned and rolled my eyes. I sat up from the surprisingly comfortable bed that I was lounging on. I looked out the window and noticed it was dark outside. I turned back to Travis and noticed he had changed into a fresh pair of jeans and a plain white shirt that completed his muscles, but not too tightly.
He leaned his shoulder against the doorframe. I raked my fingers through my hair. "Dinner's ready," he said simply. I hopped off the bed and stretched while nodding my head. He looked me over before pointing to a closed door inside the room.
"There's some cleaned clothes in there that my sister left behind. Feel free to change, because while you were asleep, Cat Woman called and said she wanted her outfit back," he teased since Cat Woman's outfit is all leather. I faked laughter.
"Ha ha, year 2004 called and said they wanted their joke back," I mused before walking over to the closet door and opening it.
I was blinded by bright colors of clothing. I pulled out a bright yellow sundress and held it out in disgust. I heard Travis chuckle before leaving the room. I ignored this and continued scanning through the clothes until I found a decent plain light blue shirt and some jeans I scanned through the draws. By my luck, I found some fresh undergarments that were still in the wrapper. I carried the clothing to the bathroom down the hall, showered, and put on the clothing.
I dried my hair with a towel and ran my raked my fingers through it, seeing as I didn't know where a comb or brush was. Once placing my dirty clothes on my new room, I headed downstairs. When I reached the staircase, I could hear multiple voices coming from below.
So I guess others will be joining this dinner. I ran my fingers through my hair once more and began down the steps. When I reached the bottom, the voices became more profound as I headed towards the dining room.
Sitting at the table was Martha, Travis, and two others. A boy whom I recognized from Travis' school earlier, the one with the jet black hair and bright green eyes. Among the unknown was also a female. She's the exact opposite of me.
She has blonde and brown curly hair, make-up, and ugh, a very bright orange sundress. There were six seats at the table. Travis and the blonde on one side, the black haired guy on the other across from the blonde, and Marta sitting at the end, next to Travis and empty chair.
When I stepped deeper into the room, everyone grew quiet. The blonde stopped in the middle of her laughter. "Who's this?" she asked in a very unrealistic happy voice.
