Julian was in the starting eleven, and he was so happy about it.

It was the tenth minute, and they already had a head start.
It was 1:0 for Dortmund, the goal being made by Erling Haaland.

And now, out of nowhere Julian was taken down from the pitch, Marco Rose running over to him.

"Marco, what the fuck? Why do you take me down?" Julian asked, furious.

"Julian, listen to me, you have to get to the hospital. It's Leti. They won't tell me what happened." Marco rushed him out.

"What?!"

Julian drove as fast as he could, he had to change before leaving, now arriving at the hospital.

"Hi, Laetitia Brandt just got in, I'm her husband."
He rushed to the doctor at the front desk.

"Oh, yes. They just brought her in. Room 205, down the hall. You can go in." She said.

Julian ran down, knocking on the door, before entering.

"Ah, you must be Mister Brandt, her husband, right?" The doctor said, after he left her side.

"Yes, do you know what happened?" He asked, wanting to cry, but keeping himself from it, seeing his wife laying on the bed, unconscious.

"We got her from a car crash. The police will talk to you and her later, too. She has a fracture in the left ribs and a broken hipbone, where the car possibly crashed. She also has a concussion. That's good news, since she could have more and worse fractures. Now, to the worse news, would you like to hear them now, or when she wakes up?" The doctor said.

"Uh, later, I think. When will she wake up?"

"Soon, we hope. But since it's 'just' as concussion she should wake up in a few minutes. Please inform me as soon as she wakes up, just with this button."
He said, showing him the button, before leaving.

Julian took himself a chair, sitting down on her side, and taking her hand in his, praying she would wake up soon.

It was just a few minutes later when he felt her hand move.

"Leti? Oh god you're fine, hey baby." He whispered when she opened her eyes.

"Julian? What happened?" Julian pushed the button and seconds after, the doctor came rushing in.

"Ah, miss Brandt. You're awake. So, let's discuss. How are you feeling?" He continued after hearing a small 'fine' from her. "You have a fracture in your left ribs, a broken hipbone and a concussion. Those are, just like I told your husband, good news. The bad news, which I think you would want to know, are pretty sad. I'm very sorry to tell you that the two and a half month old baby in your stomach, died from the crash, consequences being bad bleeding from your cerfix, so your mothermouth, head aches and stomach cramps." Leti had started to cry, while Julian held her, having to stop the tears himself.

"I'll leave you alone for a bit. You'll have to stay in the hospital tomorrow, then you can leave." The doctor excused.

"I'm so sorry." Leti cried.

"Sh, it's not you fault, shhh." Julian tried to calm her and himself in the same time.
