It was the next day and you and the pogues were all just hanging out at John b's there was a lot of awkward tension between JJ and yourself you guys were avoiding each other and haven't spoken since the kiss you two had sheared the night before.
It was different though you guys weren't fighting or making snarky comments here and there it was just awkward....
"Ok what's going on?" Kiara said after feeling the tension between your self and JJ.
"What?" You asked playing dumb.
"Don't act stupid." Shit
"What's going on with you and JJ?" Her voice was stern this time wanting an answer.
"Nothing is wrong what are you talking about?" This time JJ was the one playing dumb.
"I mean you guys haven't called each other any names, givin each other dirty looks, and to top it all off you haven't said a word to each other. Not one word!" She said standing up well more like yelled.
"They probably just had angry make up sex and don't know how to deal with how awkward it is after." John b said piping into the conversation.
You looked at him with a disgusted look on your face you had to admit you had thought about hooking up with JJ once or twice....
"Look we're fine we don't hate each other anymore that's why I guess." JJ said once again getting angry, you could tell that his jaw was clenched.
"You don't look like you're fine you look like you guys don't even know each other anymore. It's weird I don't like the vibe." Kie said her voice getting quite and she sat down again.
You felt guilty like you made her sad and you hated that if there was one thing you actually hated it was making your closest friends mad at you or that you were the reason for there sadness.
Your eyes softened as you kept your eyes on Kiara.
"I just... you guys are my closest friends and to have you guys hating each other 24/7... i don't know it just puts the vibes off and now you guys aren't even talking to each other? Like c'mon. Seriously?" She said her head turning up to look at the both.
You looked to JJ seeing that he was already looking at you and you both had the same look on your face: guilt.
You both had realized you had hurt your friends with this dumb fighting.
"Kie can I talk to you inside for a sec?" You asked looking back to your friend Kiara.
She simply nodded her head as you both stood up and walked inside the house and into John b's room closing and locking the door behind you.
"So...?" Kie said waiting for you to explain why you and JJ were acting like this.
"We kissed." You blurted out not even thinking.
"What?!" She yelled.
"Kiara!" You whispered yelled.
"Oh yeah sorry..." she said but she had a dumb smile on her face.
"More then once..." you hesitated but decided she should know.
"What?!" She shouted again.
"Kiara!"
"When did these happen?" She asked her voiced laced with curiosity and excitement
"When you left us on the boat was the first time I was yelling at him and he just kissed me. And the second time was last night after I apologized he just started to lean in and well I kissed back."
You said explaining the events that cause the awkwardness between the two of you.
"Well did you like it?.." she asked her smile growing bigger if that was even possible.
"I mean as much as I hate to admit it I did, I really did when we were kissing I felt like everything around us had disappeared like it was just us were weren't at the Château we weren't anywhere it was just us in that moment." You started going on a ramble.
"Oh my god." She said looking at you with wide eyes.
"What?"
"You like him."
"What no."
"You really really like him."
Then it hit you all this time you never even hated him.
"Oh shit."
